Rodney March 12 Share March 12 (edited) When they showed that there'd be Russian cosmonauts early on in the episode, I dismissed them right away. Not surprised that they'd be suspects, at the very least, but I knew that they'd be too easy to be the saboteurs or the killers. Thought that Bo was the culprit at first, but then . . . well . . . he wound up dead. After that, I thought that it was Shel. He seemed and felt too good to be true. I suspected him even more when he threw Marisa off the case. It felt like he had something to hide. And then, Andre confirmed him knowing that he was supposed to stage the emergency, and that was all that I needed to know. I kind of liked the parallel that the show played between Andre and Selena and Simon and Phoebe regarding couples working together. Is the Crash-Bang test really real in the FBI? Once again, Marisa and Cam seemed a bit extra. They should've specified whether the astronauts at the space station were saved in time. But a good episode. peeayebee March 12 Share March 12 The moment I saw Geoff Stults, I knew he was the bad guy. But what a stupid reason for sabotaging the mission. He was jealous that the two astronauts had a happy marriage? Dumb. The Crash-Bang thing was just filler. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152321-s02e16-the-overview-effect/#findComment-8605311
Trini March 15 Author Share March 15 An interesting case, I think they could have done this without the murder, though. That part seemed the least thought out, plot-wise. Or they could have nixed one of the filler side plots to fill out the the main case more. I liked the banter between Alec and Kylie near the beginning; but it just made me mad all over again that we don't get enough of those two together. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152321-s02e16-the-overview-effect/#findComment-8607619
