My heart just broke for that dog when he was hiding underneath a chair in an abandoned lot, then caught by the dog catcher and put in a cage, then left in another cage at the animal control facilities. I don't think I've ever cared that much about any of the human rescues, lol.

Any breed adoptions as a result are a win-win for the dogs! Great subliminal advertising!

Unfortunately shelter dogs are rarely purebreds despite what TV would have you believe. They are mostly Pit Bull and Retriever/Shepherd mixes around these parts.

Same in my area. Plus, that wasn't really a true shelter dog--just someone's pet who'd escaped.

Buck's reaction to Eddie moving was pretty stupid. But I was pretty impressed by Maddie's story. Right or wrong her cold blooded move to get the guy to kill himself was surprising, and surprises don't really happen on shows like this.

The ending was stupid. After how traumatic that last call was I can't believe Athena just told her to go home and hug her kid and start drinking. Not even an offer to drive her home or call her brother or husband so she would have some support. Or better yet talk to a counselor or someone before she left. 

And the very end where she was assaulted it was shot so weirdly I wasn't sure if it was the detective lady or if it was some weird surreal thing where bad-Maddie was back and trying to get rid of good-Maddie.
