(Though, would something really download fast enough to take down the whole system in a matter of seconds?) I never understood why they don't have a computer NOT hooked up to the internet or LAN systems. If it infects that computer, no biggie. Sheesh. This still remains one of my favorite shows. luna1122again February 7 Share February 7 Oh yeah, I forgot, I was very happy to see Taran Killam back, I was afraid he'd been phased out. Ludo is so sweet. I hope he's not actually sick or something. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151711-s01e12-partners/page/2/#findComment-8575263

I never watched Todd, and I watch HP, Elsb, and Matl. The commercials for Todd really put me off, and I never even tried that show, but I was looking forward to all three of the others. So, knowing nothing at all about Todd the show vs Todd the commercials, I'm not surprised. Also, I think that maybe having three shows with female leads and a clear hook might be a clue. Todd (from the ads) looked to me like it was going to be a silly show about a mother and son team, and all fluff. Also, I know Skyler Astin has fans, but I am not one of them. And the sour-seeming mother character looked like something I would hate, also. Matlock had KATHY FREAKING BATES, plus after the pilot it had the "fighting evil pharma" hook (and the 2nd lead is another woman). HP had the female lead plus the shockingly good parenting angle, which surprised me and made it stand out from other shows where I hate the parenting garbage. And Elsbeth had a built in viewership from the character's role on The Good Wife (and The Good Fight, which I never watched), plus again-- the combination of Kaya (who I consider to be the 2nd lead, making a female friendship a central draw for the show, as in Matlock), plus WENDELL PIERCE as the other main character in the ensemble. I think some shows are doomed by the promotion and some are launched by it. 5 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151711-s01e12-partners/page/2/#findComment-8575821
TV Anonymous February 9 Share February 9 Worst episode in the series. The malware in the unknown USB drive was the first WTF moment. What law enforcement just plug in an unknown device into their system? And if the intention is to scare the billionaire, as pointed out the device was of competitor's brand. Surely the billionaire would recognize right away that the device was not his. Remote shut down on an airplane completely ruins this episode. For a show that shows us interesting scientific facts, the production does not seem to understand how internet works, and why is it such a bad idea to have aircraft control connected to it. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151711-s01e12-partners/page/2/#findComment-8576382

I don't remember the commercials for Todd...I am a casual Skyler Astin fan and he's why I watched: I also like Marcia Gay Harden. It WAS silly fluff, but I think HP is as well. I like Kathy Bates but not enough to care about watching Matlock, apparently. And I tried with Elspeth (I'd never seen the character on the other shows) but I also found it silly fluff that for whatever reason didn't compel me to watch anymore. I do appreciate that the leads are women, tho. At any rate, I do like this show. Fluff is fine. I started watching it because I'm an Always Sunny and a Scrubs fan, and I think it's fun enough to stick with. Also seeing KO's outfits each week is a bonus. That's why I loved her character. She was disgusting and despicable and that made her comeuppance delicious! 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151711-s01e12-partners/page/2/#findComment-8580766
