Cassandra meddles with Isabella’s living situation and it gets tedious.

Isabella’s sisters, Mary Jane and Beth, are totally one-dimensional.

The 1830 storyline continues to be dull.

 

Flashbacks:

Austen men have a terrible taste in women — the nosy Mary and the snobbish Elizabeth.

Jane makes a smart move by rescuing Cassy from being exploited as a glorified nanny by their brother, Edward.

I am having trouble keeping track of who is/was married to whom and how they are related.
