Lantern7 December 21, 2024 Share December 21, 2024 I apologize for the obvious path my opinion takes. Man, that was sad. So sad. And pathetic. What a sad, pathetic creature. I am, of course, talking about Frankenstein. *rimshot* Weasel's backstory was also sad, but it's blunted by the kids that died being really stupid. Everyone involved in that flashback was a special kind of dumb. The teacher for leaving the door unlocked, the kids for stumbling in and setting a small fire, that one guy for barreling in with his gun, the police for immediately assuming Weasel was trying to get that one girl that wound up getting buried in the rubble . . . just a sad situation all around. Frankenstein is funny. He's an incel dope, but he's funny. Circe's vision seems a little too straightforward, especially when the country that would rule the world and kill the major superhumans is barely technologically advanced. I wouldn't be surprised if all that mech armor was borrow Rocket Red gear form Russia. One plus side: given that the Superman trailer dropped yesterday, I'm glad we didn't get a dead Krypto lying on the ground. Perhaps James Gunn learned a lesson from the criticisms of Guardians of the Galaxt Vol. 3. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151150-s01e04-chasing-squirrels/#findComment-8538198

He's likely stronger than the Bride, so if he ever gets ahold of her when she's not prepared, she's in trouble. He's also really dumb. I prefer the version in the comics, when he's an agent of S.H.A.D.E., is quite intelligent, and has had a consensual relationship with The Bride. Snapdragon December 28, 2024 Share December 28, 2024 (edited) I cannot handle bad stuff happening to kids. Totally cried at the end of this episode once Weasel's backstory was completely revealed. Though now that I'm drained emotionally, wouldn't the cops have kinda pieced together what happened? The kids were obviously killed by the explosion so while I get why they would have kept Weasel to study, I don't think they would have concluded that he was a murderer. Also, two cops and neither of them tries to save the kid? The kid who is obviously still alive? That was just sad for sad's sake. EDIT: Also, I'm guessing the princess is some centuries old, energy sucking vampire type thing bent on world domination. That would explain why the queen looks like she does and why she seduced Flagg Sr (probably figured he'd be useful to her later and look, here he is trying to warn her).
