Snazzy Daisy November 22 Share November 22 Quote Convinced that a blackmailer is to blame for their tragedy, the sisters look for evidence. Becka is shaken by life-changing news. Air Date: Nov 27, 2024 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150783-s02e04-person-of-interest/
Mindthinkr November 27 Share November 27 At some point I’m just going to have to go back and binge this whole show. Both seasons. Something about this one episode a week thing makes it harder for me to remember all the characters and what they’re getting up to. Becca said a wee too much to the female detective. She seems to be brighter than her boss or he is just over the whole work thing and just wants to retire. Where did the bunny is the closet come from? Why is Angelica wearing the neck brace. I thought Becca didn’t assault her. (This is what I meant by I’m getting mixed up with this show) 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150783-s02e04-person-of-interest/#findComment-8519280
SeanBug November 27 Share November 27 (edited) I'm watching right now. Becca didn't assault her. She pulled her hood up and ran and maybe bumped into Angelica in the hallway. Didn't even knock her down. The neck brace is bullshit. Now she's telling Roger she's the kindest person ever and why is this happening. Roger told her JP raped Eva and taunted Grace about it. And she's smiling. Roger your sister is the devil. WTF is the deal with her making up a bedroom for Blanaid? Blanaid has four aunts and a step father she seems close to. Yay Ian!! Did we ever get a straight answer as to where he was those days before Grace died? aghst November 28 Share November 28 Ian said he stayed with friends in Kildare. He ran off when Grace told him that she killed JP. Well the snooping inside Angelica's room was botched, just as their every caper or attempt in season 1 to kill The Prick was. They're not pros, just determined sisters who are overly protective of each other? Is it suppose to be representative of Irish society that grown siblings are constantly with each other, seeing each other almost every day it seems. No because Matt doesn't seem to constantly be around his brother. So the sisters, being constantly together, maybe reinforces or enables each other's worst instincts. They all have strong personalities and some of them convince the rest to take these risks. They're bad sisters, not only because they tried several time to kill their brother in law, they are continually plotting and coming up with ways to get themselves in trouble. But they run into adversaries who don't think much of them, ready to make their lives miserable, first JP and now apparently Angelica. They're also dealing with other threats, the Claffin brothers in season one and the eager beaver detective in season 2. Ian threatening Angelica though may mean he's more dangerous to the Garvey sisters than Angelica. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150783-s02e04-person-of-interest/#findComment-8519680
Snazzy Daisy November 28 Author Share November 28 So, we have moved on from grief, Roger makes a move on Ursula and Baby Becka is in big trouble. Quote “Just don’t be sh!t.” Bibi and Becka breaking into Angelica’s house while Ursula being their lookout is the funniest sequence in S02 so far. Bibi and Becka rarely get sh!t done. Home invasion is clearly not their expertise. 🤣 Angelica is so OTT with her neck brace. Becka nudges her to the wall and she’s still standing. What an opportunity to play martyr! Dammit Roger! Why would you tell that “hateful, homophobic wagon” about Eva’s trauma? And she reacts to the rape news with a smile! Becka is messy — the unplanned pregnancy and the way she accidentally reveals to Houlihan about Grace’s money. It’s not recorded but that insufferable, smug detective will use that info to her advantage. There’s something dodgy about Ian, the way he laughs after threatening Angelica. Could he be more involved in Grace’s death than Angelica is? Have we underestimated him? Ursula calling Ian out for disappearing after the “first row of his marriage” is rudely satisfying. Am not comfortable with the endless hugging between Ian and Eva, 3 times in this episode alone — twice on the field and once in the kitchen while he’s in boxers. 😬 My favorite line in this episode: Quote “I want to cry, but my eyeball is too dry.” 😂😂😂 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150783-s02e04-person-of-interest/#findComment-8519909
abbyzenn November 29 Share November 29 Well the sisters did talk about the missing money this episode. Just not sure of Ian - he seems a bit shady. I'd have to watch again but I thought Angelica seemed taken aback by Ian's telling her of Eva's rape by JP. I liked the show but I don't think this season is as good as the first one - maybe because the first one had an overarching theme of killing JP where as this season seems to be all over the place. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150783-s02e04-person-of-interest/#findComment-8520800

I am enjoying this season, but I agree that it's lacking in something compared to the first season. I think that part of it is that in season 1, we at least knew that the prick would get his comeuppance, whereas we have no idea what (if anything) will happen to the wagon. I don't think I could have stomached watching S1 if I hadn't know the prick was going to die eventually. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150783-s02e04-person-of-interest/#findComment-8520828

Since season 1 was a 1:1 copy of a belgian show, I doubt it. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150783-s02e04-person-of-interest/#findComment-8522539
