cameron October 26 Share October 26 Erin's boss definitely has an ethics problem. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150257-s14e12-without-fear-or-favor/#findComment-8491246
Snazzy Daisy October 26 Share October 26 Hey Blue Bloods, stop foreshadowing Henry’s demise in every episode, will ya? You’re making me nervous. 😢 Partnering Danny with a nobody and unreasonably removing Baez from the equation are a waste of screen time. Why would you wanna do that with only several episodes left? Geez. 😏 Poor Jamie…he has to work on a silly case, dealing with 3 loser dads. Ted King is only 59yo. He looks rough despite being 20 years younger than Tom Selleck. I only recognize his mannerism and the way he speaks. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150257-s14e12-without-fear-or-favor/#findComment-8491331

His usual possessiveness and fury at any other agency looking at one of his cases melted away fairly quickly. Or perhaps he realized that it's okay to work with other cops after his bromance with Lyle Lovett. One of the long-running things that damages the credibility of the show is that anyone who disagrees with a Reagan is a bad person. The DA really had no reason to ask for Erin to serve up the cop on a platter. A grand jury will do it or not. And a guy mugging an old lady is not someone who gets people marching in the streets. Are we getting a foreshadowing of Grandpa Teeth passing away at the end of the season? Also, it's always more interesting when Frank and the mayor have to grapple with moral issues from the same side. This was the most human we've seen the mayor, who was trying to help a guy he considered a friend, and Frank, who knows he should have come down on the cop who pulled his gun, but didn't. And there was good ol' Baker, directly confronting the ex-cop with "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?" while Sid and Frank tried to find a way to spin it. I read an article this week floating the idea that Baker should be the next commish! DA certainly seems to be taking a defund the police stance in this instance. Erin even alluded to it. Sarah 103 October 26 Share October 26 Overall, I liked this episode. I do not understand why Jamie had the case he did. Does this actually fit in with his new job? Is this just a case of "it's TV, just accept it and roll with it?" 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150257-s14e12-without-fear-or-favor/#findComment-8491494
EtheltoTillie October 27 Share October 27 How did Jamie get three minor children/suspects down to the station so they could confront —their parents? 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150257-s14e12-without-fear-or-favor/#findComment-8491517
