The final four enter the Werkroom, congratulating themselves on making it to the final four. It's a familiar place for most of them, and it's nice to see the queens to take pride in their accomplishments, even though this group has seemed pre-ordained for the majority of this slog of a season. Except for Alyssa, who finds herself heading to the finish line for the first time in her long, long history of this show. The first time! That's just wild.

Kitty takes the opportunity to take a shot at Nehellenia, because of course she does.

The eliminated queens return to the Werkroom to announce that it's time to redress some of this season's many wrongs by throwing some cash around! And it's going to be a lipsynch standoff, so it's going to be great fun, right? Well, no. But more on that later!

The eliminated queens return in order of their elimination. Except Pythia. What is WoW doing to her?

The format is a familiar one: each selected queen will choose an opponent, who will then choose a song. WoW proceeds to then blow it all by revealing a playlist entirely of older RuPaul tracks. You guys -- NO.

Vanity is eliminated because she doesn't know the words. Pythia isn't a dancer. Gala loses her wig -- wait, she wins her battle. What? We get one spirited lipsynch -- to "U Wear it Well", but these are all mediocre tracks, and I can only dream of what these talents might have done with better material. But we don't.

Soa and Gala -- hopefully with some glue on -- make it to the end. They do their best with "The Beginning", but it's also a dud of a song. Soa wins! I loved her run on DR: France, so this was a nice cash prize for her. Alarmingly, Ru hints that we're going to see a sequel to this season! Please do not do this unless you replace the hosts, editors, and writers.

Next week: fill up on whatever supports you'll need to make it the end -- it's the finale! I will root for two of the remaining contestants.

Nice to see you back, @davidcalgary29! I expect you and I are rooting for the same two.

Well, I felt some of the winners were questionable, but overall I don't feel strongly enough to challenge anyone. It was pretty dull. I am disappointed that Soa won, but not because I think she didn't deserve it, just because of guilt by association (Kween, I'm talking about Kween).

I wanted to reach out and take that tinsel off Miranda's lip lol, it was driving me nuts

I too will be cheering for 2 of the 4 finalists, davidcalgary29.

I was excited at the prospect of hearing some good songs but my excitement  immediately turned into horror when I realized the sings comprising the set list. WTF. I heart Ru but find almost every song as not memorable. The returning queens deserved better.

I actually squealed at how intensely Alyssa was following Tessa's performance, how proud she was of Tessa. Those two are adorable!

It was awful. I don't think Soa deserved that win - her mouth was moving out of time to the lyrics. Luckily her lipstick was pale, or it would have been more noticeable. But then I don't think Gala should have been there in the final two, either, so I guess it evens out. It's just more questionable judging and editing, following on from the pattern of the rest of the season. Looking forward to the finale, for more of the same!

Those lip syncs weren’t really that good. I agree that Soa wasn’t the clear winner. Also Gala didn’t really dance she just flopped her hair around and did sexy poses. I’m sorry I’m also not a fan of Galas style of drag, I know she doesn’t tuck or wear padding which is ok but it’s not the aesthetic I like to see.

Again where was the dancing ..some of those tracks were good to vogue the house down. It’s like they all just want to look pretty but lacking in the performance part  I actually enjoyed Athena and Eve La Queen. Eva only because her lip sync skills are impressive but not so much the dancing

I’m rooting for Alyssa or Nelly..the other two no way

When I heard the playlist, I was okay with it because I honestly couldn't remember ever hearing any of the songs before. I wonder if the girls given the list of songs before and should've been prepared to sing them. If so, no excuse not to know the words when $50k is on the line. It's been a few days since I've seen the episode and I don't remember any of the girls being on point with both the singing and dancing. I do think Eva was eliminated too early. Gala did lose her wig but I don't remember Miranda doing much of anything. Of the two, makes sense to me that Soa won.

Agreed that it was kinda boring. Did they need a filler episode or something? While it was good to see all the girls again, I wanted to see the finale.
