Spoiler

You would have thought we could have had at least a 90 minute finale (glares).

Anyway…..

My one complaint is not having Rashad on to kill Carter, that would have been delicious.  Instead we get cute Nico putting him in cuffs?  Sighs.

Daaaaaaaamn, Diana!  Girl got her Lucky Santangelo on, I shrieked when she killed Anya.  It was chilling to see her at the head of the Tejada dinner table at the end.

Was bummed that Cane and Effie didn’t leave together.  I was also hoping that one of them would have pledged their love before leaving.  I’m confused though, if Effie gave Cane a bag full of money, why is she back at Choate?  Wasn’t she just accepted at the AI college?

So Noma was an informant?  Whatthewhat?  Cane got her good though.

There's only one person Tariq could be talking to on the phone at the end credits, and that's THOMAS PATRICK EGAN!!  I hope T. will make some appearances in the last season for Force.

I put in the spoiler 'cause I couldn't wait...how do I delete it once the show comes on?

The writing was over the top this last episode. Riq talking to Carter about how many innocent lives Carter has done (really Riq?). Dianna doing a 180 from heart breakin from killing a cop and leaving a kid motherless to being blood thirsty murder and taking over the game and becoming Monet. And i didn't need Carter's borderline Denzel's end of Training Day speech.  They didn't let Effie have a happy ending and let her out the game. And the mid credits scene seems like Riq is gonna make an appearance on Power 4.

I don't know what I was expecting, but I was kind of...bored with how it ended.

The actors acted like all the (annoying, mostly unnecessary) f-bombs they threw out throughout the series instead of meaningful dialogue, just tired them out.

Noma dying was supposed to be the climactic part of the episode... and it kind of wasn't.

Seperately, I can't buy that Noma's emergency hideout would be this huge house in this, seemingly, very expensive neighborhood that anyone can get to. I can't buy that they would have an armed militia in this rich ass neighborhood as if it wouldn't draw attention.

I think she only became an informant to get revenge on the Tejadas because she had no help after her brother left. I don't buy that the cops would have brought Noma, if she is an informant, to the location where they believed they were going to find the Tejadas.

She was going to use the money she gave to Cane to go to Stanford. Now that she doesn't have that money, she's not going to Stanford.

I was surprised that Diana was talking about restarting the "family business" because she's been trying to get away from it for the longest time. I believe that she wants her family to stick around so that's why she suggested it but I was thinking "wherever Dru is going you can go with him. Venture into the world and find some new experiences... but it looks like she's about to become her mom."

I was thinking the same. He couldn't be talking to anyone else but Tommy.

I didn't wait at all. As soon as they put it up at midnight, I watched it.

Ghost in the Machine was a interesting choice for the episode title since that was a big album by The Police back in the day.

Gotta love how Dru the former convict just walks into the police station like he owns the place.

Diana killed Anya!  Great acting by the actress who plays Noma. Her grief and horror were palpable.

Nico was a cool customer. He set Carter up smooth as silk. Not sure about him getting in bed with Tariq to do it though.

Real talk from Noma's brother. She should listened to him before things got so far out of control.

Not sure how Cane was still alive after getting filled with bullets. He had the best plot armor apparently.

Diana big mad. Hi Monet 2.0.

Ha ha, poor Brayden got demoted in Tariq's new and improved drug-running empire. Another Tommy he still is not.

So Lieutenant Nico moved into Carter's slot and is now straight up dirty too. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Please tell me that wasn't Tommy on the phone with Tariq and Tariq will show up on Force. Noooo! However, I do like the fan theory that Cane will either pop up in Chicago too, or get his own spinoff series based in Atlanta.

Bye, Power Book II: Ghost. It was a great ride.

How did he set Carter up?

I would love for Cane to be in Tommy's orbit, but I get the vibe that Woody McC. is done with the role and is looking for other stuff.

I understand why Tariq did that, but did they have to end the friendship?

Nico was letting Carter think he was still in his corner while he was helping the people who wanted to take Carter down. He took his time with it too because he had suspected for a while that Carter was using the task force to cover his own crimes. Nico was the last person Carter would've expected turn on him and Nico used that to his advantage.

I think the one line Nico wouldn't cross is killing another cop. Carter covered up Felicia's murder, which Nico was a little suspicious of because Felicia's death didn't quite make sense as Carter explained it. Carter killed Tate and then covered it up. That's a line Nico wouldn't cross, even though Nico was dirty as fuck too.

If Nico was going to be dirty, it was for his "brothers in blue" rather than against them... and Carter violated that.
