tired and hungry October 6 Share October 6 Oh no It's happening again. On the brightside atleast the town can have an ambulance now.. Also who was the person Jade was seeing? Was it his friend who was with him when he first came to the town? I can't seem to remember or recognize him.. 1 Link to comment
babyrambo October 7 Share October 7 I’m glad Tabitha’s back because I found the Maine scenes to be a slog. But the scene right before the accident where she discovers the bracelet & starts asking questions seems a major turning point in the show and makes me think Tabitha might be right. Both answers are bad news for her though, because if she’s right and she never left then she wasted her time being toyed with for nothing, but if she’s wrong and she actually escaped then the forces behind the town are even more twisted than I thought because it managed to ensnare her once again. Either way, her explanation to her family will be interesting. She was only gone for a day and a half (I think? The timeline of this show is a little patchy) but they still deeply felt her loss and the relief at having her back versus knowing she maybe? escaped is going to be rough. I liked the pacing of this episode but I really want to see Tabitha, Victor, and his father put all their information together and try to reveal some answers; the season is almost half over, yet things still feel so stagnant. 5 Link to comment

I did think she would eventually end up back in the town again but did not expect it to happen in the third episode itself. Also I feel like her return to the town may not be so simple. Maybe she's in another "version" of the town like a different dimension or something but lets hope I'm wrong and Victor can finally reunite with his dad(great casting btw, they both look like they could be actually related).. Also something I forgot to mention previously, idk if I'm remembering it right but wasn't the farm and the barn a bit further away from the town(like a 10mins walk away?).. Like I don't remember it being in the center of the town near all the main buildings and houses. Maybe I'm just misremembering it... Also its kinda silly that everything that happened with the animals they still just leave the goats outside in the pen instead of putting them inside the barn.. 4 Link to comment

So far, the show seems more invested in the psychological horror aspect rather than any inter-dimensional horror. There’s clearly some reality bending going on given the fact of monsters and trees that one can travel through, but personally, I want some relevant revelations about Fromville before they introduce yet another major mystery into the fold. And I agree with you about the animals. You’d think the townspeople would keep them secure, but that lack of urgency is par for the course in terms of character work on this show. As creative and entertaining as the mystery is, outside of the monsters, the writing sometimes doesn’t hold up to basic common sense. 3 1 Link to comment

Especially with the tree at the end, I'm pretty sure she was actually in Maine. There seem to be chosen ones and they seem to be psychically connected to the place and each other somehow. I assume every chosen one has made a bracelet like this. That also explains why she found it in the house. A previous chosen one must have left it there. 1 Link to comment
Anela November 27 Share November 27 I have MGM, thanks to a Black Friday sale, so I'm catching up. So, she really got out? I'm going to have to re-watch part of it, because I was distracted, so I missed how she started to question the dad. But now, he's going to be with his son in the town... Link to comment
