Lantern7 August 27 Share August 27 (edited) Second half of Stage One! Hey, Ryan Stratis got a “Legacy Invite.” Too bad he wiped out. Edited August 27 by Lantern7 1 Link to comment
SophiaD August 27 Share August 27 (edited) Wow, this is painful. My favorites are flopping. I'm thrilled for Austin Grey and even more thrilled for Joe Moravsky, who just about destroyed the course; but the rest of the evening was just a wash. And, OMG, MORE side-by-side racing on Stage 2! With the premium on endurance and speed, speed, speed, the format is tilting against the adults and, especially, the women doing well. I'm quite salty about this. Basically, they took a fun, interesting, and enjoyable show and wrecked it. Edited August 27 by SophiaD 5 1 1 Link to comment
Vermicious Knid August 27 Share August 27 All of Stage 1 was filmed in a single night, FYI. I watched Enzo's run and fall. They didn't show his family handing out foam fingers and baseball caps. And they had filmed Najee running out and high-fiving the crowd (twice!) before he actually ran but decided not to use that. I keep mentally substituting 'last season' with 'last week'. Which makes me wonder even more about the people who dropped out, did they get hurt at the 2023 final? It was only a couple of days before this. 3 Link to comment

ams1001 August 27 Share August 27 So I fully intended to watch last night, checked the TV listings and everything, went for a walk, came home, and completely forgot to turn on the TV. Oops. Guess I'll watch on demand later, but it doesn't sound like there was too much excitement. I'll watch for The Weatherman, at least. Link to comment
