Well, damn!  Almost out of nowhere, Scorpus kind of became one of the biggest villains here.  Basically killed the eldest horse trainer because he was jealous of his popularity with the crowd.  And then kills his frenemy driver in order to cover his tracks.  Dude takes this sport and fame way too seriously!  Tenax obvious knows what really happened, but is currently going to pretend that it was an accident since he probably won't able to get a rider better than Scorpus.

Of course, this now leads to Elia/the youngest Spaniard sibling to quit and is now joining the Blue Faction as a rider.  Guessing though he doesn't care about winning and is hoping to take out Scorpus himself.  Things are going to get ugly!

Looks like a witness somehow escaped Tenax and now he's on his way to collaborate his statement to Titus that Domitian was the one behind the grain shortages.  So, now his next grand plan with Tenax is to.... kill Titus.  Suspect that will be easier said than done.

I'm guessing the scene with Cala's eldest daughter is setting up the possibility of her becoming a willingly gladiator?
