babyrambo March 27 Share March 27 IMO the writing took a turn for the worse in the second half of the season so the fact that the finale was so underwhelming didn’t surprise me. The final scene did though. Not sure what it’s supposed to mean in terms of universes/dimensions but I’m definitely curious about where the series is going next. Come season 2, I want better writing and for them to pull back on the intentional vagueness of the overarching story. The premise is mysterious enough without all the inadequate diversions. 3 Link to comment
AllyB March 28 Share March 28 Tbh, I've found the way this is made pretty boring. The whole two universe thing was obvious from the first episode, so the whole, slow, slow, dreamy, ponderous, slow drip, drip of the 'reveal' was incredibly dull. I found the Paul episode one of the better ones, as it moved through the plot of five episodes in one, so even though it was unnecessary and we learned nothing new, it was less boring. This had the potential to be a hell of a lot more interesting than it was but the way it's made means I keep drifting away from what's happening. 3 Link to comment
Hanahope May 12 Share May 12 So I get why Jo flip back and forth and why Henry/Bud bleed into each other, but why does Alice? She never went to space. And how did Henry/Bud flip at the end? And I got confused on which was which of Henry/Bud. Henry fixed Apollo 18 and saved his crew but transferred to Buds body where the crew was dead so he created CAL? And Bud had his crew die but woke up in Henry’s body with them alive, became a hero, wrote a book someone “helped” him with, became an alcoholic and lived in the small apartment ? And then somehow switched when henry came into proximity with the CAL and Bud stopped taking the meds? Link to comment
maddie965 July 28 Share July 28 (edited) I was really enjoying this until Paul's episode. I think it went downhill from there. I still loved some moments in the last two episodes, but it was a big mess. Too bad. I wanted this to work. Any recommendations while we wait for a new season of FAM?
