Yep, Hestia's retreat was a death cult. But it being an excuse for her human companion to gather gods to kill them was a good twist.

I did like how the Argonauts all immediately died, and Homer knew and just wanted to see how far the family would keep up with their ruse. And then he grew a sexy mane of hair and went to Mt. Olympus...only to be speared by Heracles. Honestly wasn't expecting that ending.

So, Hestia's retreat turned out to be a "killbox" after all, just not quite the way they thought it would be. I wondered how long Homer would fall for their amateur (audio) production but did not expect that he knew immediately and would make them tell stories about him in exchange for his silence, only to be killed by Heracles the idiot (Nice callback, tho!).
