SVNBob February 9 Share February 9 New episodes started last night. And this first one was a pseudo-revisit. Phil and Jess went to Romania/Transylvania to investigate the Hoia Baciu, the "most haunted forest in the world". And a location that Josh visited with his old show; one where one of his crew, Evan, was attacked. Lots of interesting things happening with the equipment. And during the GPR check of the Rotunda, I came to the same conclusion Phil did just before he said it. Then again, there was a little prompting in that direction with the local experts that Jessica was talking to. Link to comment

SVNBob February 13 Author Share February 13 That the ground was a graveyard. And Josh said in the closing VO that the GPR crew continued checking and found even more voids in the same regularly spaced pattern and at the same depth, adding further weight to that conclusion. 3 Link to comment

Okay, that's what I thought you were talking about. That's pretty creepy and freaky though. I wonder if there's a logical explanation as to why things wouldn't grow there? 2 Link to comment
iRarelyWatchTV36 July 25 Share July 25 Discovery network of channels has started showing ads for the new season (8) premiere, which starts on August 14. Maybe I am mistaken, but the woman does not look like Jessica Chobot. Is it really someone different, and if so, why? Link to comment

I’d be more upset if they replaced Phil. Jess was a little too willing to believe in anything. She, her husband Blair Herter, and their son do live in the Netherlands now, so that might be a factor. And she may just be wanting to focus on family for a while. She does mention on her new-ish podcast that she will not be returning for the upcoming season, but doesn't say why yet. (Around 4:10 in the video below.) It also kinda sounds like she's done with mainstream entertainment for a while, but does not discount ever returning. Also in the video, she tells a BTS story about the filming in Utah near SkinWalker Ranch with more details about the incident that was shown. That starts near 47:25 in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95d2wzIm7Iw 1 Link to comment
