The uncertainty about the diagnosis and what it might mean for Viv was well done w/o going overboard. The scene with the brother who had clearly picked up that something was wrong (as all kids do) was very sweet w/o being treacly. Well done show! Link to comment

possibilities March 2 Share March 2 I can't believe they didn't tell the kids they weren't feeling well so please play quietly. Those kids are being raised to be the most self-absorbed, rude, insensitive brats imaginable. But then, the adult friend was also loud and insensitive. Maybe that's the world these people live in, but I don't get it. I did enjoy the two of them dancing quietly with headphones on when the kids were asleep. And I like their marriage. They actually like each other and get along and work as a team most of the time. It's such a relief after the fad of bickering, mismatched couples that were inexplicably sold as comedy for so long. I wonder why Astrid hadn't seen her friend for a long time, when they live next door. And I laugh a lot at how the youngest kid is now being called Morris by the parents. I guess Viv won that one! LOL. I like that James doesn't want to steal cable. Not everyone has a pirate fantasy. Raisins in chili? I vote no on that one. Not in lasagne, either. Link to comment
