Scenes with Ash are a bit draggy. The overall subplot with Ash is half-baked and getting nowhere.

Will continue holding on to his marriage, so afraid of letting his father down. Pathetic.

I keep waiting to hear about the red windbreaker. Am glad they finally bring it up again.

Detective Rawlins tells Liv “I see you”. She doesn’t have to read the Wilderness novel to know who the real culprit is.

Is Liv really pregnant? Nahhh.

WILL: “Who are you?”

LIV: “I’m who you made me.”

A bunny-boiler? Really writers?

Liv may have wanted Will dead but seeing him locked away in prison, paying the price - this may be a sweeter revenge after all.

Overall, I have enjoyed Wilderness more than Apple TV’s Surface. Oliver Jackson-Cohen starred in both, he played a similar role - a charismatic & shady husband. Wilderness is more of a drama about betrayal, pain & revenge than a thriller.

Not to the same degree, but this series reminded me of one I watched during COVID starring Kevin Hart in which he also got away with murder.

Liv suffered a lot more than Hart's character did but ultimately, she was never punished for her actions, which (while understandable) were wrong morally and legally.

I realize that life isn't fair, but it still annoys me when characters don't pay the consequence but are depicted as sympathetic, if not justified, in doing so.
