I generally liked all the other episodes but this one was horrible. I mean, they actually killed people? It was not consistent with the other episodes.

I took it to be a fantasy episode and a take on The Fast and the Furious franchise.  I think we were also to assume that it was drug-fueled and that they were tripping out because at the end Pete says something like 'I gotta stop taking drugs.'

That's my take because it was so ridiculous. Pete made a comment when they were watching F&F on tv, and then when they were all driving, everyone was kind of meta-commenting.
