The actor who plays Jaggers is excellent.   I don't care very much for older Pip (who appears 30 rather than 18 or whatever),  which is too bad because young Pip was quite likeable.

There is nothing appealing about Estella, much less worthy of Pip's undying love.   Of course, Pip's failure to fall in love with young Biddy raises serious questions about his judgment.

Yes, young Pip looked closer to 18 than the actor playing the current Pip. No offense to him, he just looks too old for this role. This is a bleak rendition. I haven’t actually ever read the book (pause for Gasps) Is this a faithful retelling?

Also, not feeling any love or chemistry between Pip and Estella.
