Leeds March 30, 2023 Share March 30, 2023 If I check the quote button and then change my mind, the "x" on the quote box (bottom right) is covered by the up arrow, so I can't delete. Link to comment
Meredith Quill March 30, 2023 Share March 30, 2023 I'll ask the dev to take a look at this. In the meantime, can you confirm which site theme, device, browser and OS you're using please & thanks. Link to comment
paulvdb March 30, 2023 Share March 30, 2023 I can confirm the same thing here. PC, Windows 7 x64, Firefox. Solution: scroll all the way to the top of the page to make the arrow disappear. Then you can click the x to close the quote box.. Link to comment

Unfortunately I am hugely computer challenged so don't even understand half your questions. I use an MS Surface Windows 10 Pro. From clicking on a few buttons, it seems I have Version 22H2 Build 1904.2728 Hope that helps. Link to comment

No worries; MS Surface is the device, Windows 10 is the OS (Operating System); next, which browser do you use - Chrome or Firefox etc (it should tell you on the top left of your screen)? As for site theme, if you scroll down to the bottom of any page you'll see 'Width/Font Size/Theme' if you click on theme a pop up menu will show you which one you're using (I assume it will be 'Primetimer47' but best to confirm), thanks. If it helps… after I saw this I tried it out and I see the same thing. I think this is referring to the multi quote. On win10/Firefox, there’s a little corner of the x visible that I can click if I aim the mouse just right. On iPhone/safari, the x is completely covered - I had to use the back button to get out. As far as I know I have the defaults for the width and font size. Don’t get a choice for theme anymore. 1 Link to comment

My browser is Chrome. As for theme, my only options when I scroll down appear to be width and font size, no theme. Link to comment
30 Helens April 19, 2023 Share April 19, 2023 I have the same issue with the “x” being hidden under the Up arrow. Using Safari on IPad. (By the way, thank you so much for fixing whatever was preventing me from quoting specific sections of text within a post! Not having to quote the entire post then backspacing over parts is such a game changer, and it’s made me ridiculously happy.) Link to comment
Meredith Quill May 24, 2023 Share May 24, 2023 An update was completed in early May, if this issue is ongoing for you can you let me know, please and thanks. Link to comment
Leeds May 31, 2023 Author Share May 31, 2023 I can suddenly no longer multi-quote. I can select more than one post to quote, but when I click on "Quote x posts" there is no response. I can successfully quote a single post. MS Surface,Windows 10. Link to comment

Not the op, but I still see the issue. But… if I tap the up arrow, then I do have access to the “X”. I’m not sure if that’s a change or I just didn’t think to try it before. @Leeds Edited May 31, 2023 by SoMuchTV 1 Link to comment

30 Helens June 3, 2023 Share June 3, 2023 (edited) I’m still having an issue. This is what the bottom right corner of my page looks like after quoting, with the quote box hidden by both the ad and the up arrow: The only way I can clear the ad and see the quote box is to click the black-circled arrow. Then I get this: Ad gone, quote box visible (and clickable), but no way to delete it. Edited June 3, 2023 by 30 Helens Link to comment

Leeds June 11, 2023 Author Share June 11, 2023 Still not able to multi-quote (see above). Any progress on your end? Link to comment
AllAstronauts July 12, 2023 Share July 12, 2023 This should be inadvertently fixed as of a few hours ago. However... if there is a video ad popped up over it you will have to kill that yourself (tiny x circle top left corner of the ad) 1 Link to comment
