thuganomics85 November 19, 2022 Share November 19, 2022 Heh, of course Randall is friends with Dwayne's mother! At this rate, I think he might even try to get adopted so he and Dwayne can officially be brothers! Looks like Rocky is starting to suffer the consequences of his actions pertaining to wrestling in Saudi Arabia/betraying Vince. Even if he's going to join Lia's organization, I have to imagine there will be more financial changes since I doubt he'll be getting anything close to the money he got in the WWF. Did think Ata was a little too forgiving: not for the decision itself that led to this but for trying to hide it from her. Curious to know if Lars Anderson was as self-centered and egotistical as he came off here. I believe he's still alive, so I wonder what he thinks about his portrayal on this show. 2 Link to comment

There is a current program produced by Dwayne Johnson and his Seven Bucks Productions company on the Vice network called Tales From the Territories. It is a documentary series that explores stories from pro wrestling's territorial days. Basically, old time wrestlers sitting around a table telling funny stories from the seventies and eighties about different wrestling territories. Dwayne does the opening narration. In particular, there was an episode Polynesian: Wrestling's Island Dynasty about Polynesian Pro Wrestling (the Hawaii territory). Lars Anderson was one of the former wrestlers at the table. He didn't come off that badly, as he did in the show. This episode in particular would pair well with Young Rock as it is about the High Chief, Lia, Ata and Lars. Goes into some detail about Lia and Lars being arrested by the FBI. Well worth watching for any fan of this show as it gives good background information about the Hawaii portions of the show. The real Bruno was another participant at the table. Here is the link: Tales From The Territories - Polynesian: Wrestling's Island Dynasty Note: Might not be available there for long, so watch it now. 3 1 Link to comment
