No, I didn't! Oopsie!

I just finished this series. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I used up a lot of tissues.

I loved seeing the whole family helping each other. I thought the acting was great all around, even the girl who played Idalia. (Too many child actors are annoying.) Italy was beautiful. Lino and Amy's house in LA was so cool.

I was wondering if Zoe Saldana is as fluent in Italian as she appeared to be.

Yes, her husband is Italian and Reese Witherspoon gave her the role when she had dinner with them and heard them conversing in Italian with each other. I’m sure a lot of the movie that had to do with her gelling with an Italian family was familiar to her.
