Snazzy Daisy October 24, 2022 Share October 24, 2022 (edited) Lino to Zora: Quote “Stay close to her. And treat Idalia like your own child.” 😭😭😭 Lino and Amy had 7 cancer-free years. Quote “Amore. I need something. Please, take my ashes home to Sicily. And I want you to love again someday. Another love. Your love is too beautiful not to share. I want you to live your life.” “Thank you for your life. Thank you.” “Where do you think I’m going?” “I don’t know. But I think it’s beautiful and full. And you will be peaceful. You will be peaceful, Linuzzo mio. I will welcome you in my dreams. I look forward to our next time together. Ti amo.” 😭😭😭 RIP Lino Ortolano. CarpeFelis January 16, 2023 Share January 16, 2023 At this point in the series all I could think was “If I’d known this was what it was about I never would have watched it.” Watched the whole thing anyway but kind of wish I hadn’t. ProudMary October 16, 2023 Share October 16, 2023 Echoing the comment made above by @CarpeFelis, albeit nine months ago, while I'm just watching From Scratch now, this whole series and especially this episode should have had a trigger warning. For someone who has watched a loved one experience life's end stages, and also lost a younger loved one to an aggressive cancer, this show, although beautifully written, has rekindled memories that I'd have preferred not to re-live. Shorter version: I wanted to watch a foodie love story, set in a beautiful location, but instead watched something I "kind of wish I hadn't.
