I realize not all jury selections are the same, but the ones I've experienced (either as a potential juror or as a lawyer) had the judge asking the questions on the obvious bias concerns like "This case involves law enforcement; are any of you police officers or have any in your family?"

I assume the poker player was not paid as much as the jury consultant, which is a good thing since she seemed to pick up on the same things as the prosecutor's consultant.
