OtterMommy April 29, 2022 Share April 29, 2022 Quote The ladies don disguises and head to a casino to spy on Coyote. Brianna also pretends to be someone she's not to appease a potential investor. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/129333-s07e12-the-casino/
Bastet May 3, 2022 Share May 3, 2022 It was a terrific moment when Grace realized she can't tell Frankie about Coyote, just in case she is dying soon; it's better to let her go out feeling safe in the knowledge he's okay. I figured he hadn't actually had a drink (and wish - but, of course, it wouldn't be TV if someone thought to do this - Grace had followed up with the server by asking if that rum & Coke was his first). That was a nice seen between Grace and Coyote, two people who care about each other in a general way as people Frankie cares about, but who don't have much regard for each other individually. I enjoyed Bud and Joan-Margaret, too. Although I had been liking the notion he didn't actually want to chuck his legal career and pursue stand-up comedy. How 'bout you practice in a less soul-sucking area of law, dude? Brianna better get a goddamned win by the end of the series, because this ridiculous propping up of Mallory as businessperson extraordinaire pisses me off; it's so unearned. The banter between Grace and Frankie in the car as the headed to the casino was everything I love about this show. I just realized Robert and Sol weren't in this one. Didn't miss 'em at all. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/129333-s07e12-the-casino/#findComment-7432727
Yeah No May 15, 2022 Share May 15, 2022 Yeah I'm tired of the Mallory as CEO bit especially so close to the end of the series. It's not entertaining. I didn't miss the guys either but this did feel like a "blah" episode compared with the others so far. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/129333-s07e12-the-casino/#findComment-7454462
quirkygal July 9, 2023 Share July 9, 2023 Not sure how business woman extrodinare Brianna thought lying about being CEO would work long term with an investor. It's called *fraud* and if you're lucky you won't end up in criminal legal trouble just the civil kind of legal trouble that will cost gobs of money and your professional reputation... But what do I - a woman with an MBA and an ounce of common sense - know? Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/129333-s07e12-the-casino/#findComment-8067746
