I like that she knows he's brilliant but isn't really that into indulging him. When she went rogue for Will - or equally because she wanted to know the truth herself - I kept muttering, "Don't kill Beverly, don't kill Beverly". But of course they did. She was smart, wanted to figure out what was going on with Will on her own, and, as noted above, wasn't hung up on one the guys. I was disappointed they killed her off but, wow, what way to stage her death.
