I watched the first episode and really enjoyed it.  I thought it presented a balanced picture of Franklin and brought out a lot of small details that I'd either forgotten or never knew.

I watched both episodes and it was quite interesting.  It was sad at the end, though, that he never reconciled with his son, William.

If events had happened just slightly differently, I suspect Franklin would have remained a Loyalist. That parliamentary inquiry where he was humiliated swung the balance, IMO.
