magdalene October 20, 2023 Share October 20, 2023 I know the creators had originally hoped for more than 3 seasons. So this statement by Stuart sounds diplomatically making lemonade out of lemons. Netflix is known for canceling series after 3 seasons for cost reasons, after 3 seasons they have to pay the talent more, etc. etc.. The show would have had to have been a big hit to go on and the ratings were decent but not spectacular. At least they had notice of the non-renewal so hopefully that will mean a somewhat satisfying conclusion. 1 1 Link to comment

Haleth July 23 Share July 23 I finished season 3 last night, really enjoyed it. I do wish since it was the last season that they’d included a postscript about what happened to everyone. Since I’m an Emma fan I knew about her and her sons’ fate and of course everyone knows about Leif but I’m going to have to read up on Harald of Norway. I’m wondering if the producers had wanted a 4th season since so much was left up in the air. (Freydis’s son?). This is over, Vikings is over, The Last Kingdom is over… I’m going to miss all of my sexy Vikings. 1 2 Link to comment
PatsyandEddie July 28 Author Share July 28 A movie would be helpful in tying up the loose ends as was done with The Last Kingdom. 2 Link to comment
magdalene September 8 Share September 8 I only found out now the final season is out. Should I watch it or is too frustrating with a bad ending? Link to comment
