Book Vs. Show: Missing Pieces

Oh darn, didn't see this one and posted all my thoughts in E8 thread. It doesn't surprise me when there is a large difference between the book and series in general, but when the author is involved in the series I assume the main points will carry over. The show got most of the bare bones of the storyline jammed in, but really sacrificed the most interesting parts of the story (and the characters) to do so.

There is a sequel book.  Girl, Forgotten 

 

I forgot most everything I read in the first book by the time I read the second.  I think they are leaving so much out of the series that’s it’s hard to follow.

This only very loosely follows the book. N\By the time Andie is taking off with Jasper I think they threw the book out the window.
