I love Leighton but I also love seeing her get knocked down a peg. "You know how many Russian billionaires send their kids here? Three. We'll be fine." And also, "Suggesting that you don't have to use your pronouns when other people do makes you sound like a really dumb cis bitch."

I hate the assistant coach. I hate him so much. Please free Whitney from this storyline. She is so much more fun to watch with literally every other character.

I love all the supporting characters on this show, especially Whitney's teammate Willow and badass Jocelyn, who happily attends naked parties and pulls guys with abs.

And on a very shallow note, he is not attractive. His eyes freak me out lol. Like if he was really hot and had amazing chem with the Whitney actress then I would probably overlook the grossness tbh because I’m shallow like that.

I really want Whitney to dump Married Coach.  He is terrible and he's gaslighting her.  I wish she was like my college roommate who could sniff out a lying boyfriend like nobody's business.

Yes.  I loved it that the college President was not impressed by her attempts at bribery.  But I thought the Women's Center woman was as awful in her own way as Leighton could be.  First Leighton is still a student and this is community service as sanctioned by the school not by some court of law.  They have to work around her class schedule.  Women's Center chick doesn't just get to dictate Leighton's hours.

Also, I am all for people voluntarily including their pronouns in an effort to promote allyship and to avoid being misgendered.  But, insisting that someone provide their pronouns can actually be harmful.  LGBTQ persons who are struggling with how to identify or aren't ready to announce an identity can find that sort of point-blank question extremely stressful, especially if presented with it in a place or context where the person doesn't feel they are in a safe space.  And frankly, I didn't think that space felt safe for Leighton.  Sure she can be spoiled and oblivious and entitled but that whole scene felt needlessly aggressive.  Also I just think it is rude to insist that people declare specific pieces their identity to a bunch of strangers right from the jump. 

I find Bela really funny and out there.  She seems like she is the one having the most fun.

I kinda hope that Kimberly gets over her Nico infatuation.  It would be a nice curveball because right now this storyline feels been-there, done that.

I'm torn on the scene.  I absolutely agree that forcing her to share her pronouns was wrong and the opposite of the actual intent behind sharing pronouns.

On the other hand, Leighton deserved to be called out for the "she/her obviously" comment because the "obviously" also goes against what sharing pronouns is supposed to promote.

But the show called out the latter but not the former which I hope they rectify at some point. It felt like a gap in the writers' knowledge.
