S17.E20: Over the Rail

Jake battles a hurricane in the fleet's smallest boat while Keith orders crew over the rail to avoid capsizing. When Johnathan discovers crab in his cod pots, his crew scrambles to locate the hoard as "Blind Dog" finds himself in a bone-crushing position.

Best fishing he's ever had or gonna have (his words) and Jake A. was moaning he wasn't having any luck while waiting out the storm, safe and sound, with an anchor attached by the grace of good.  

The combo plate pots the TB found were amazing.  When you're running good, you're running good.  And yes, JB has a heck of a crew.  Deeply ironic in the same time that the CM came up empty when a cod F/V gave him that tip.  JB just lucked into it.

It's been several seasons since we got footage of required and serious de-icing.  The warmer sea also more easily yielded great tonnage of fish.  This year, everything was tougher.  I'll take the warmer Bering, thank you.

What do they actually do with the mixed crab/cod pots -- sort into different tanks? Or were they fishing for cod for bait and it just gave them a headstart on crab?
