S01.E04: A House Is Not A Home

I am not sure how the two female characters could be so blasé about coughing up 10 gallons of water the night before. The influencer didn't seem to even acknowledge that it happened and Susan only seemed phased by it is when she thought it might happen a second time.

The reactions to the threat level are greatly improved, but still not prefect, I can say the same thing about the application of humor. The best episode so far, but there is much room for improvement.

Hopefully Luke will ignore his ghost mother and Megan's creepy house, but we all know that Megan is going to get trapped inside the house and Luke and team are going to have to go in a recuse her. But that is for another episode.

This is not normally the type of show I would watch, but started watching because I love Tim Rozon and Sara Levy. Though of course there is room for improvement I am loving it! I love the humour, and the part in last night's episode that mimicked an old west gunfight, complete with I think it was a soccer ball rolling down the street instead of a tumbleweed, had hubby and me in stitches.

The humour is back!

I enjoyed this episode a lot. I find master planned suburbia creepy so it was nice that August and Phil validated my feelings lol.  I liked that Luke was able to solve the case without the ghostbusting. That little gizmo August made is going to come back in a future episode though. So the other real estate guy was pissed off that the only fix was to renovate the sunrooms at the company cost, and that's why he refused to do any more business with Roman Agency, right?

Holy shit, YES. If it had been me, I would not spend one more moment in that house. Although, the influencer seemed more blasé than Susan. I thought maybe she didn't remember what had happened, but I guess she was more worried about the water pressure and the ceiling paint.

I was all ready to write a big rant about how annoyed I was with Susan and Zooey sniping at each other again, but I'm guessing they're making sarcasm and insolence Zooey's personality trait, and the sniping stopped after the bonding session and the badass fireball. I'm not saying I want them to be besties, but it's not really a good look to have the two female leads in an antagonistic relationship.

Ooo, that's better than my theory that she's somehow involved. I love that she texted him about "ghosting" her, that was downright clever.

It was hilarious when I thought it was a tumbleweed - now,, knowing it was a soccer ball it's even funnier, considering it's suburbia.

I loved the ball of fire and the sailors being saved.

It didn't look like a soccer ball to me, but I didn't replay it to make sure.  Wasn't quite a tumbleweed...  now I wish I hadn't deleted the episode so I could rewatch.

Good episode and Susan didn't annoy me as much as usual.  The scenes with her and Zooey seemed awkward.  Not in a "they are awkward with each other, so we'll make it awkward" acting-choice way, just, not natural ... not a normal flow of development between the characters, or something.

Loved the sunroom and I'm not sure I'd be happy that the builder was going to make it a regular room.  Yeah, I'd want to get rid of the ghosties, but that's why I bought that model in the first place.  Change the room AND give me a refund.  And I hope the other realtor/builder paid the invoice.  They did get the job done, even if it is going to cost the company a lot of money.  Pissed me off that the other guy said he wasn't going to pay them.  Oh, and Luke had to hire an architect to make plans for the change?  Just tell the guy to change the sunroom to a multi-purpose room that, apparently "everyone wants these days".

The ghosts were easily mollified this week.  The ghost architect didn't hang around to make sure the changes were actually made and the sailor ghosts were satisfied that their ghost-ship didn't crash?  They all of a sudden weren't mad that they had died?

Still, all of these are minor annoyances, I'm actually enjoying this show.

I actually did just re watch before I deleted the episode. and it was more like a tumbleweed. Definitely wasn't a soccer ball. I'm disappointed, it was a far funnier scene when I saw a soccer ball. Lol. I guess all those seasons of watching Schitt's Creek (which is why I started watching this show) spoiled me, where I could watch an episode multiple times and pretty much always see something funny that I missed on previous viewings.
