Hello fellow TWL watchers  ☺️

There really isn't any must see TV  going on now, for me anyway. Anyone else have current favs? Recommendations?

I'm looking forward to Project Runway, The Last Of Us  and I guess since production of And Just Like That wrapped in Jan. 2025 that could be back sometime in the coming months but there doesn't seem to be any official word.

Severance on Apple+ just wrapped up. It is probably one of the most intriguing and inventive series I’ve ever watched. It’s worth the ten bucks for one month to stream both seasons.

Weeell, as our TV / internet / phone service is pretty darned expensive, I don' t subscribe to any streaming services

I meant to say above I'm on someone else's desktop... and of course, a cell phone.

As far as what I'm into, HBO's been running all their old series recently and ROME was my all time favorite by miles!❤️

I watched American God's until Starz was it, quit it in the middle. Been watching House of the Dragon.

Well, as I said in the episode thread, I don't even consider The White Lotus "must see" tv.  After last season I downgraded it to "eh, might as well watch" tv for me.  Here are the shows I've been recommending to friends since last year:

As someone said above, The Residence (Netflix) was a great watch.  If you enjoyed Knives Out or similar murder mysteries with wacky characters, you'll like this.

I also think Severance was a good recommendation, above.  (Apple)  I've only seen the first season, I don't have Apple TV and watched it while on vacation last year.  I need to subscribe just to binge Season 2.

Somewhat unexpectedly, I really enjoyed Paradise (Hulu).  A political thriller with a twist.  If you don't know anything about it, keep it that way.  Seriously.  Go in as blind as you can and don't spoil the twist.  Great cast.

I slow binged the first 3 seasons of Resident Alien last fall.  Think Northern Exposure with a fish out of water alien twist.  (On Netflix, but I think Season 4 will be on SyFy)

For light, entertaining fluff, A Man on the Inside was delightful.  (Netflix)

Another quirky dark humor show is Deadloch.  Australian.  (Prime)

and... I just re-read your later comments and see you don't have streaming.  So, feel free to ignore everything I just listed.  Some might be available from your library or on Hoopla.

Hoopla is a great suggestion. I used it. I just checked their site. Here are a few shows that I enjoyed:

Wolf Hall
My Life is Murder
Death in Paradise
Doc Martin
Dark Winds
Call the Midwife
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
Foyle's War
