ElectricBoogaloo March 31, 2021 Share March 31, 2021 (edited) Quote When Kenan's mum, Bobbi, comes for a visit, it's apparent she's developed a new sense of independence, and Kenan finds himself competing for her attention. juno April 7, 2021 Share April 7, 2021 (edited) I am surprised that I am sticking around this long when this show seems to be getting worse and not better each week. If there is an official comedy trope roadmap this episode followed it 100%. Not really going to go into each comedy trope but knowing exactly what will happen in each scene is not an ideal viewing experience. There are really good actors here but this show is not good. I am not sure if Redd and Keenan can save it or even if I will continue watching it. Edited April 7, 2021 by juno 2 Link to comment
possibilities April 7, 2021 Share April 7, 2021 Kenan was such a horrible brat this episode. I just really don't want to see that. Link to comment
BoogieBurns April 7, 2021 Share April 7, 2021 I've enjoyed every episode besides this one. It couldn't hold my attention. I hope it was just a cruddy one off, and not a pattern. Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo April 7, 2021 Author Share April 7, 2021 I'm not a fan of the "adult acts like a man baby" plot in general, so I was not feeling any of this. I did love hearing everyone eagerly talking about his mom's chicken though. His mom is an adult and she should be having fun! The one thing that felt a little inconsiderate was his mom coming to visit and then making all kinds of plans without Kenan or his brother. She didn't need to be joined at the hip with them for the entire trip, but she already had plans to go clubbing, see Cirque du Soleil, and Weird Al by the time she showed up on his doorstep. 4 Link to comment
