ElectricBoogaloo March 17, 2021 Share March 17, 2021 Quote When Kenan's former boy bandmate-turned-huge popstar comes to town, Kenan finds himself doubting Gary's effectiveness as a manager and contemplates a change. Mika gives Aubrey and Birdie a lesson in feminism and the art of persuasion. Original air date: 3/23/21 Link to comment
juno March 24, 2021 Share March 24, 2021 For me that was the first real dud in the series. In true sitcom fashion, they built up Gary as completely incompetent, have the new Manager come in who is even worse and Keenan loses his job. Of course in the end Keenan is saved by running back to Gary to make everything all right again, proving he really is the bestest Manager ever. Thank goodness for Grand Dad Don and the 2 girls who are becoming the best part of the show. If they keep up these awful tropes this show is going to the dumpster. 2 Link to comment
Quickbeam March 24, 2021 Share March 24, 2021 Kenan as an actor is impossible to resist which is why it’s almost painful to watch the creaky material around him. He deserves a better show. He’s so likable that I watch this show in spite of how formulaic it is. 9 Link to comment

The writing is weak and that can kill a show faster than a great cast can keep it alive. 7 Link to comment
