Was there a new episode last night? If so my Cogeco didn't record it although it records every rerun it can find - and there are lots of them.

Yes, there was.

That is so sad. I hope that Diesel is happy now, waiting for the rest of his pack to join him.

In a touching twist, Diesel’s final episode would be “Room With a Clue,” a “Home Alone”-esque episode entirely focused on Rex that finds him solving a crime on his own while stuck at home.

That was such a good episode.

Retiree Bonnie Lee is a long-time fan of the show and its star. “Diesel had that special quality that is rare in a TV star. You fell in love with him after the first head tilt or that little cry he makes, or when he climbs up on the sofa between Charlie and Sarah,” she said.

The tilt. I will miss that.

Well, that was not an uplifting season finale! I was all teary-eyed and sad.  Too much sadness in the world.

Yeah, it was sad, but luckily the actor who plays Charlie finished he cancer treatment and got the all clear from doctors.  Unfortunately the season finished filming before then, so they had to prepare for the fact he might not have returned.

What a sad season it must have been to film losing  Diesel and almost losing John too, both after the second episode.

If John Reardon is focusing on this DIY restoration project, will he be returning for season 8 of Hudson & Rex?

Is this the reason why Shaftesbury/City TV has decided to bring in Luke Roberts as a new detective? A potential replacement?

It's time for a proper announcement regarding the future of this show.

I don't think that he's going to be doing the work himself, other than the fence, so there should be time enough to shoot the show.

It was a gorgeous house. I kept thinking 1. it must have hurt to have to take all that woodwork and glass down and 2. this is going to cost a fortune.

Other thought: he and Meghan have fun chemistry here, which is interesting because in their Hallmark movie, there was little chemistry at all. Maybe they were acting too hard.
