S01.E03: Brother’s Keeper

Determined to gain access to his police file, Aaron decides to represent an inmate from Safiya’s drug rehabilitation program whose brother is a cop. District Attorney Maskins and Assistant District Attorney O’Reilly close in on proof of Aaron’s malfeasance during Jose Rodriguez’s trial, targeting Marie as a way to get to Aaron.

So let's get this straight. The wife who was caught on tape giving and taking something (forged note used in court) from Aaron, re-enters the visitors room with a very thick envelope (containing Aaron's police file) and this is routinely allowed to happen. What became of the heightened security procedures that should have been put in place?

And now the fact that Aaron has the file that he's unsuccessfully been trying to obtain will not set off any bells & whistles.

What could possibly go wrong?

I cannot fathom how this show is "loosely based on true facts" other than the fact that they've taken "loosely" to another level.

The one article that I have read about Isaac Wright Jr. suggests that truth may indeed be stranger than fiction. Honest cops watching a stacked deck thus helping out the little guy fighting big brother
