  1. I disagree. I think the reason they got along so well and so fast in Storybrooke is because they did warm to each other. All the show shared with us during the missing year was the early moments when they first met and then 2 scenes near the end where she is upset he's there and then insults him at Rumple's castle. Out of context it seems like they didn't get along for the ENTIRE YEAR but I'm willing to bed they slowly did. But regina is self destructive and probably would try to sabotage it. And I think it very likely it's Roland that gets them talking in the first place. She hurts for missing Henry and probably doesn't want to be around any children, especially a young boy but it's possible circumstances force to be with him anyway. I know this is all theory but to me it makes the most sense and certainly explains how fast they came together in Storybrooke. At the very minimum I have to believe they kissed at least once so to explain how they practically almost make out in the farmhouse. Their minds may have forgotten but the shipper in me loves the idea that their bodies still remember.
  2. I admit that the thing that is hard to overcome here is Regina executing Marian (I can at least be glad it's clear Regina didn't know it was Marian she was executing though the name wouldn't have stopped her but I bet finding out she's the wife of the man with the lion tattoo even without having have met him at that point she'd NOT have executed and found some ways around it). However I'm not convinced the show is going to let that stand. A&E did say soon after the finale something about it allegedly, and given how we have magic, they simply have to pull out a deus ex machina to explain in truth Regina never did execute Marian. Problem sovled. This is a show about fairy tales where all of them have collided, it's not hard for me to overlook some stuff. If it were Scandal, Castle, or an actual daytime soap I would have major misgivings but I'm not going to take THIS SHOW that seriously because it's a show that is based on Disney movies which are then based (very loosely in some cases) to the actual fairly tales. I sit back and have fun and not let much of anything bother me at least in regards to punishments for past sins. (Bad writing or acting I will have a problem and I was not happy with Marian showing up but willing to see how it goes). Finally as to the spoiler of the arrogant prince possibly being Little John, I say bring it on. One of my favorite movies of all time is The Lion in Winter and I hardly think most of the portrayals of historical characters (particularly John) are accurate.
  3. I'm sure it will be also established that Regina got to know Roland in the missing year so it was more than a week. Plus, we know at least on one occasion Regina saved Roland's life. I'm not saying any of this will be easy for Marian to accept or even believe. I won't blame her for her feelings and I expect high levels of angst (which if done right I can enjoy). And I don't see how Robin's priorities or world view are any different than anyone else in Storybrooke considering Rumpestiltskin and Hook's own pasts are just as bad as Regina's. The bottom line is this is a fairy tale and the story they try to go for is redemption is possible for everyone. But that fear was gone once they escaped and I find it incredible nobody asks her again which was my point.
  4. I don't see how this can be even compared to straight up regular adultery. It's not that clear cut. In cases where the spouse has been presumed dead and the living spouse "has moved on" only for the dead one to return, the person in the middle is going to be truly torn and I'm sure Robin Hood will be. And in this case, Marian actually was dead because Emma decided it would be the easiest solution to just bring someone back from the past without even asking her name (I'm not saying it wasn't the right decision but there are consequences with changing the past as I'm sure Doc Brown would back me up on that). Robin is no longer the same man he once was when he fell in love with Marian anymore than Regina is the same woman she was when she fell in love Daniel. I'm sure Robin is going to try to figure out things because Marian truly is tragically been placed in a "no fault" situation where she still is very much in love with her husband but it's been literally years since she has been around and Robin probably does hold the same love for her. Even if you take Regina out of it, is it fair to expect Robin (and Marian) to remain in a marriage where he no longer holds the same feelings for his wife he once did? As long as Robin tries to be fair in the situation and show both women respect (and tact), I will be fine with him leaving Marian. I do not support him sneaking around her back with Regina and I highly doubt he will do so and I also doubt Regina would be willing to be the other woman. Finally in the case of Roland...he's actually never known his mother. I'm positive it's going to be shown in S4 he actually knows Regina far better than his own mother and will be highly confused to the whole situation. The idea of Robin and Marian staying together for Roland's sake doesn't hold true when he barely knows his mother, Marian hasn't had time to even be a mother and the kid is probably more confused now with her back then before. What I expect to see is angst and hurt and probably Regina battling her darker side. I'm a Regina fan (something of a minority on this board and keeps me as a lurker) but while I do expect Henry to be there for her during this, ultimately I want to see Regina choose for herself not to fall back on her evil ways because it's something she chooses to do and not because she's afraid of losing Henry's love. We've already gone down that road and if Regina truly was redeemed in S3 then she has to learn to keep her demons behind her.
  5. I am glad they are trying but I'd rather it be because they have a plan and not just because A) they are tired of us bitching about it or B) they ran out of anything else plot wise. If it's just filler it probably won't make a lot of sense at this point but I am willing to wait and see how it winds up.
  6. I think Verdana is right. I think the writers are deciding to finally listen to the grumblings made by fans who are wanting to know more of the actual title character of the show. It's a little too late given we are moving into seventh season. I'm all for learning more about Castle but they better not suddenly insist he has "walls" (writers really rely way too much on the walls formula) that can suddenly cause tension between he and Kate.
  7. Yea. A soap opera I watched had a character which was super good and decent...they chose to make him a villain. The actor LOVED it and I watched with horror as a character I came to adore became vile and hated. The solace of everyone praising the actor for his range wasn't that comforting, I already knew he was a good actor. Anyway, he was asked recently how he wanted his character to go out, he said he wanted him to take a gun and blow his brains out. The show didn't go that far with it, but very close. So Nathan's answer doesn't shock me at all.
  8. I guess I'm in the minority on here, but I love Outlaw Queen. But that doesn't mean I don't see problems. I agree they need to beef up Robin Hood. We rarely get any of his perspective either in the enchanted forest or in Storybrooke. One thing to help with that is have him interact with people other than Regina. I did enjoy his very brief conversation with Charming. Also, I go back and forth on how I feel their fast track of the relationship. I prefer a slower burn to my couples and I feel like they sped through them so fast so we could get to the point of Marian showing up alive and then we get to watch how Regina "reacts" now that she's been "redeemed". It is possible the story could work out very well: Regina being tempted to turn to the dark side but through her own newly formed conscious she tries to walk away from Robin . Meanwhile Robin can be shown conflicted but ultimately chooses Regina (but this absolutely requires Robin to be his own character, not a supplement to Regina's). Oh, and I do look forward to seeing how Henry reacts to this...I expect him to try to lend his shoulder to Regina which would have good angst.
  9. In regards to asking if sometimes Marlowe and his team listen to fans reactions, I think that is true. I'm sure some storylines have changed/altered due to fan reaction. Alexis choosing to take her lumps and live on her own in her apartment because she didn't want her father paying for her mistakes with Pi (by having to break the lease) and then she and Kate having a short discussion is one example I think. Oh, actually I think the S6 premiere where Kate's reaction is "I thought you were going to break up with me" and Castle was all "Hells no" was another one. It's lack of subtly and one dimensional humor is a pretty big clue.
  10. So it's been like a month since the finale right? Still rather bitter about it. That picture from Twitter a few weeks ago of Nathan with Lana Parrilla and her fiancee had me wishing OUAT's Regina could show up and it be revealed she cast a spell to change the ending to Castle. Oh well. But holy hell. What the heck is with the super hot scruffy pictures of Nathan? I saw that one at his grandmother's house and it makes me wish I was 90 years old so he can visit me. (Which probably defeat the purpose of him visiting me but nevertheless).
  11. *Looks around at new location* I was formerly Tripp3235 at TWoP. Notice I dropped the numbers because I prefer just using Tripp if possible. I was surprised at how soon they come back to start work (middle of July). I wonder given the way Castle's S6 ended will NF have some extra time off. They might want to milk his being presumed dead for awhile (which I would hate).
