Agree. If you're going to tell us that the reunion was so rich in content that it warrants four hours of our time, you'd better come up with something more substantive than that.

Agree.   I was bored.   Too much Rinna; i had to have my hand on the mute button so I wouldn't hear her shrieking.   Andy over promoted it.  The clothes and makeup were so disappointing to boot.

    Will Crystal ever say anything?

  2. What legal rights does Makel have to Mecca?   He’s not the biological father.  Is his name on the birth certificate?  He’s not married.

I can’t keep it all straight.  Now another guy, Ryan, is in the picture with Kayla?  She seems so calm about the whole thing.

The editing is terrible, or else it’s all just too confusing.

I thought the very same thing.  Everything is relative and the hotel business has been in the dumps since early 2020.  Now, they won't go broke or anything but they have to be careful with the big ticket items for now.

To the best of my knowledge they sold the hotel chain to a private equity firm several years ago.   But Rick has Hilton & Hyland which is doing quite well I assume.

  4. If Makel's mother was opposed to the transition, where did he get the insurance money to do it.   It involves many trips to the doctor and injections, etc.  Wish they'd explain this.   And what does he do now, travel back and forth to Philly?  So he doesn't work?  None of this makes sense.  If they want to explain living with transition on the show, MTV needs to do a better job.

Same with the couple who are getting a $1600 a month house.   She isn't working and he doesn't even know where he will spend his senior year.   I don't even have the names straight yet; I didn't watch previous seasons.

Rachel is sad; no hope there at all.   That deadbeat boyfriend does have beautiful blue eyes; that's all I've got.

She is tweeting that she has a new show coming soon but "that's a big secret".

How many fails will she have before she gives it up? So embarrassing.

Did she ever explain what happened to the operations manager she "hired" in Big Shot?  Who did she blame for the failure of that show?

This has been my problem every since Kathy showed up.  How she and her husband, literally had Paris kidnapped from her bed, kicking and screaming in terror for them, as they stood by and watched.  IDGI.  How they resorted to this treatment, is beyond me.   It has certainly colored by perception of Kathy, and maybe she's sorry now for how she handled Paris, but if I was Paris, I would have a hard time forgiving her, although she has.  Kathy's excuse:  she didn't know.  That don't fly with me.  The ironic part of it all is Kathy was afraid Paris was going to get kidnapped because she was a wild child, and that's why she had her kidnapped.  Fucked up logic.

I think Kathy and Rick just wanted Paris and her problems out of the way and out of the papers.    This way, they could continue their social life without interruption.   When and if they visited, they didn't explore anything too deeply and obviously weren't close enough to Paris to get the truth out of her.

Big Kathy seems like a true narcissist who valued her appliances children for the functions they provided - Kathy for the mirror, Kim for the money, and Kyle for whatever needed to be done.

The only image in my mind of Kathy is of the cold hearted bitch I saw on Paris' documentary.  Paris was literally abducted from the Hilton's house, at the request of the Rick and Kathy, and sent off to an institution in Utah for troubled teens.  It happened at night and Paris had no clue as to what was happening.    In the Utah place she was abused and drugged.   The parents didn't visit.  Paris report has been corroborated by many other inmates.   So Kathy can drop the scatterbrained housewife act; she's an entitled bitchy wealthy snob.  And why is someone who is such a perfectionist with her table settings such a mess with her clothes.   That satin pink blazer outfit looked dated, illfitting,  and sloppy, actually wrinkled.  Her disdain for the help is very believable.

Crystal looked gorgeous at the black dress dinner, but she fades into the background.  She has a very disagreeable resting bitch face.  When she smiles, it changes her appearance entirely.  But if she offers no more the rest of the season, she can go.   I really think she'll not want to return.  I think she definitely feels like an outsider, but nobody seems to care.  It's not a show where you can hang back and expect attention.

Sutton is on fire.  I love it.  She looked absolutely gorgeous on WWHL.

  8. Wonder if Bethenny ever opined on Dennis Shield's company LawCash and their allegedly nefarious practices.   No?  Surely she read the accusations.

Yesterday B posted an IG story of Bryn reading a self written tome on why she wants to be a vegetarian (again).   Bethenny raved about how smart and caring she was and that she felt the need to post the whole reading because it was so impressive.    Bethenny is a stage mother of the worst kind.

Has she seen her mother's exotic Birkins and figured out where the croc skins come from?

I hate to be this blunt, but Kathy don't love dem hoes. They could probably fall off the face of the earth and she wouldn't care. She made Kyle beg on her knees for years just to get near her again. AND the butler didn't know who the heck Kyle was-that should tell you something about their closeness.

Kathy has her own issues.   Her son was sentenced to two months in prison in early Dec, 2020.  I'm not sure if she cares or not because she is such a cold fish, but I do find it interesting.

  10. I'm tired of the series as well.  I'll stick it out until the end, but I have trouble remembering the names from week to week.  I don't think I've ever seen Nicole Kidman be outright terrible in a film, but I find her outright terrible in this one, not helped by the wigs.  She is slipping in and out of accents.  What happened?   I'm liking Frances, Tony and Lars.   I"d like to see more of Jessica.  Maybe if it were more fast paced I'd enjoy it more; it has all the ingredients but it isn't coming together.

I thought so too but then the hostess was also wearing a silver sparkly dress so what do I know?   I used to think Lu had the best clothes but then I realized she just has the best body so almost anything looks good on her because she's sported some doozies, especially this year.  But I've yet to see a fashion mistake on Eboni.  The woman knows how to dress.

LuAnn has always disappointed me with her wardrobe.  My take is that she is frugal and doesn't want to spend any money on clothes.   She probably doesn't have a lot of ready cash and there are many years ahead for her with no obvious source of income other than the show.  The show isn't guaranteed.    She's worn the same jean jacket and suede jacket on casual outings since the beginning of RHoNY.  She wears the same black top and black pants on other occasions.  Course she looks great because of her body.   I too suspect that she has a deal with Jovani for any occasion remotely called "formal."   The Black Shabbat  wasn't such an occasion but she thought oh well, I have nothing  else.   Those horrible faux fur throw on shrugs or jackets she owns in various colors reek of Jovani to me also.

  12. I would be really disappointed if MTV fed lines to the kids, but I guess it is plausible.  To me its very likely that Jo's house is more disciplined.

It amazes me that Kail and Vee's podcast is successful.   I can't imagine listening to both of them for an hour.  I read somewhere that Kail got a PPL loan during the pandemic.  I'm confused; what payroll does Kail have?  Doesn't surprise me that Kail would know how to work the system.  Gotta say, that is a beautiful house and she is building another one?  How much money does she have.

I hate it when Jade comes on the screen too.   She's just so full of herself with her BBL and her salon.   That poor kid hears arguments all day long and then starts screaming for attention.  The bf, who I think is just hanging around for the MTV check , is always on the verge of exploding in rage.  What an atmosphere for the little kid.  And Jade is always poor me, poor me.  Reminds me a bit of Amber when she was taking care of boo boo by herself.  Amber was so sorry for herself all the time;  boo boo was walking around in a diaper most of the day.   At least Gary was stable in that situation.

I guess they are going to drag out Leah's breast lump for a few weeks for lack of any other storyline.

Seems poor Bar is going to jail according to the preview.  Too bad.  I had hope for him.

  13. I just remembered something last night.   Does anyone remember the Diane Von Furstenberg show in which she tested a group of applicants to be the DVF global ambassador or the like.  They lived together and did assignments every week and one was eliminated weekly based on the assignment.   Many of the  tasks related to DVF's actual store and actual clothing line.    I doubt  it was a real job in the end but who knows?

    So not so original, Bethenny.

  14. I would never want Leah to leave the show because I like the updates on Ali.   Leah has really come a long way.  She doesn't have much to offer but she really cares about the kids and has established a good relationship with Corey.  She's had a lot of therapy and she's absorbed it.  Was glad to hear that they have found people with the same version of MD that Ali has  that have lived through their 60's.   Save money, Leah.

As for Kail, she's had a lot of therapy too.  You can tell by the way she spouts stuff.  She can talk the talk but she can't walk the walk.  Every chance she gets she sneaks in a jab at Jo or Javi and now of course Chris.

I was shocked when Brianna and her sister both said they wanted surgery.   I've never seen the sister do anything but slink into the couch with her phone.   Does she work?  She is funny, though.  And Brianna would go through all that again without even trying to do something herself first, makes no sense to me.   Although I read she does Only Fans now so maybe the body has to be in better shape to make money there.

As for Bar and Ashley, I'm just not interested in them.  I hope Bar is genuine in cleaning up.  Get those tats removed from your face, Bar.  Designing t-shirts is not exactly a career but I guess I can't blame him for going the route of easy money just like so many of the others have done.

Don't like Jade or any of her family.   Feel sorry for Khloie.   They can dump Jade.  She seems to have a bit of hustle, but she gets dragged down by the family dysfunction, often initiated by her.  She's got to get rid of her perpetual victimhood.

Lu referred to Jacques as “Jack” in a TH.

Restaurateur, not restauranteur, Shed Media chyron department.

So far, what annoyed me the most about Eboni is how much Bershan offended her, and the way she was stabbing the food with her fork and planting her left elbow on the table.

Victoria intrigues me because she seems to care not at all about her appearance, or else seems oblivious to how she looks. Her mouth is a curiosity.

Is this the first time we heard the police officer say (in response to Lu slurring “Wha’d’I do? Wha’d’I do wrong?”) “Leave your feet in the vehicle!”

My first reaction was "who is Jack".   Haha, then I  remembered Jha-kkkk.   He was a good character on the show.   We are missing those types in this season.   Even Tom was a diversion.

I also was impressed with Brianna's offer to help Jade out and take care of her at her home. That was generous and probably a lifesaving offer. Jade was in no way ready to fly...she could barely walk. That quack she went to should be run out of town. The stress of her parents and Sean fighting was clearly not helping in her recovery. But I think the more serious story here is Kloie. That child is being raised in a very violent home. The verbal fighting is awful but the physical fighting is worse. All in front of this child. She is growing up in a home with domestic abuse and violence. I'm really quite concerned for her. Sean is violent, her parents are violent...it's just a terrible situation. Jade needs to find a way out of it and get some counseling and help or Kloie will end up in a relationship with an abusive guy and the cycle will continue.

Agree with everything you said.  It was funny to me that Jade was worried about Kloie seeing her with all her tubes out and bleeding, but doesn't seem to realize the effect on Kloie of all the screaming, shouting, etc.   Kloie (not to mention the dog)  shouldn't have been there to begin with; Jade should have recovered in a medical facility with nurses/attendants, etc.   Course Jade shouldn't have done this crazy surgery at all; she should have tried to get in shape on her own first with a good diet and exercise program.  Jade expected addicts mom and step dad to  suddenly change and be caring?  They are just leeches; they saw the trip as a free ride to a beach vacation.  Now that Jade has MTV $$$$, she needs to shed herself of these parasites and get some therapy for herself.

  17. What a boring episode.

That tutu netting tied to leather jeans really was a downtown fashion statement that failed, as do all of Leah's outfits that she's worn on the show.

They showed a lot of B roll of NYC pre pandemic streets purporting to be current with the filming of the show.  NYC was absolutely empty in those days, no crowds anywhere on the street.  I found it interesting that Ramona voted in Southampton, meaning that's her official residence.  No New York City taxes for Ramona.  Wonder if that has been her official residence all along.

Leah's dog was disgusting at Eboni's.

  18. I think it is the first time I FF'd the show starting at about the 30 minute mark.   Everything in the show was so predictable, so tedious.   Why is Heather reduced to being sort of a peacemaker to whom nobody listens.  How about talking about the downtown fashion scene or something.  Supposedly Leah is in it, although I see no evidence of it from the way she dresses, Victoria is in it, Heather worked for Diddy and Beyonce.   No, its the same old manufactured feuds.

What Leah was doing there to begin with, what with the state of her grandmother, I'll never know.  Couldn't miss the chance to be on camera?

Not to mention that the Upper East Side is the most boring section of the city. I like a little variety.

Leah wearing modest clothes is not going to happen.   I see some Orthodox families around the city and in 99 degree weather the mom has a wig on and long sleeves and a long skirt.  The children have long sleeves and pants/skirts.  Did Leah consult her daughter about this?  She would be the type to ignore traditions of no phones at certain times or driving/cabs, etc.  She sounded like a fool when she talked about it.  No genuine reason, just another way to get attention.

I don't care where they live in the city as long as they have huge apartments and a big clothing wardrobe and a gorgeous summer home.   That's what I want to see.  UES is no longer the wealthiest area of the city; it has long since lost that status to areas downtown.   But if someone is from Soho or Tribeca I want to see edgy streetwear fashion, not the mish mash that Leah puts together, and huge lofts, etc.   When Eboni mentioned Harlem I thought oh great, she's bought one of those gorgeous brownstones.  But no, its a one bedroom in I suspect a typical new construction high rise.  And Leah in the Financial District, no interest to me.  Real estate porn is half the show.

I hope that Sonja's intern is completing a Masters thesis in which Sonja is symbolic of the American economy or something--a seemingly unlimited supply of wealth in the early 2000s that imploded because of its shaky and unethical underpinnings, and once the decline happened, a desperate yet futile scramble to regain or at least slow down the losses. Or maybe Wharton's giving out credit for filling bathtubs.

Sonja's daughter attends Penn.  I was thinking maybe it was a friend of her daughter who was there for a cameo.

I'd buy a permanent place in the city and just rent that out when not filming.

Didn't she have that place upstate last year in the Catskills?  She said she sold it because she was never there.   I knew she wouldn't stick that out long; its way too quiet up there for Lu.   Given the current real estate market she's better off with the Hamptons house and renting in the city, w where rents have plummeted.   Ramona's timing was good too in selling her co-op.
