FISHER!!!!! I was just thinking about you today, wondering where'd you'd disappeared

@Fisher King, when I see the little picture of the hearse from Six Feet Under, it brings back a lot of memories.  That was when I first started reading at TwoP.

  2. Maybe she only thinks there's a That's So Raven spinoff.  It's odd considering that she's on a panel with CCB from Full House to Fuller House.   So that movie where John Goodman played her father must have been just before or in the first year of Full House.  He didn't look too happy about having to be questioned by her.

go on Twitter and rant about how he's going to "punch them in the face," have them hauled off to jail and then ultimately deciding to launch a nuke at someone? This is who people think should be President?

Sounds a lot like the guy in The Philippines.

In Chicago, there was outrage when he put up a building with 20-foot tall letters spelling out his name, because it ruined the skyline, looked out of place with all the other buildings.

And if you were standing on the "L" platform on Wabash, the letters really stuck out like a sore thumb.

I hope several lawyers step forward to defend the Hollywood Blvd vandal.

On the nicknames, for me, it's a tossup between Scumbag Billionaire (Trevor Noah), and Berlusconi Knock-off (Samantha Bee)

  4. Remember, Hillary and Bill were also quite young in comparison to others when he became President, so that might have added to the resentment.  On where and how she got her money, remember (Wiki)

In 2003, Clinton released a 562-page autobiography, Living History, for which publisher Simon & Schuster paid Clinton a near-record advance of $8 million.  The book set a first-week sales record for a nonfiction work, went on to sell more than one million copies in the first month following publication, and was translated into twelve foreign languages...

This link also has footage of the guy ruining the star--yes, he apparently filmed himself wrecking it & posted it online

It looked like he was being filmed and interviewed by someone else.   In his case, the reason is the sexual assaults.   In the earlier vandalism, the ancient Hindu symbol for good luck , spray-painted in black, was more political.  I've seen that symbol in people's homes, usually in red.

If drumpf paid for the star, then he can pay for the repairs, but they should wait a while, since the same things are likely to happen again.  I think people should restrict themselves to letting their dogs do their business there.

It's pretty irritating that the media is still giving drumpf free publicity, and that we have to hear his words every day.

Olbermann's latest ,  to the women who support drumpf.  "Does the idea of a man like this as president appeal to you because it somehow makes a similar misogynist in your own life seem more okay?  If there's a President Jackass, does it make the Mister Jackass you know somehow more acceptable?"  He goes on to quote something Mother Jones found in a blog post about Kelly Preston in 2009 when her son Jed died, writing about when he was hitting on her.

Kellyanne Conway accused Biden of being the bully for speaking his mind against Trump.  Like he was the one that's been picking on Muslims, Mexicans, women,

She learned from her current boss to project his flaws onto others.

VP Biden recognizes that the Democratic Party abandoned certain voters a while ago

I think that what the party has abandoned is the past, and is looking to the future.  The process has come full circle in Virginia, and is getting close in North Carolina, which will soon be followed by Georgia and Texas, as the older generation dies out, more immigrants move in, and people from other parts of the country move there.  The places where there is stagnation are more susceptible to the kind of demagoguery that the right wing has been promoting since Reagan or before.   In years past, the old confederate states were in that position, and many still are, but some are coming out of it.

  7. This  video of Keegan-Michael Key on Meeting Obama

won't imbed.  It's about when KMK was The President's anger translator, in person.

The video that follows this one on The Scene, A Critical Look at the Obama Presidency

with Jelani Cobb, Congressman Keith Ellison, Alicia Garza, Margo Jefferson, and Khalil Gibran Muhammad is also interesting.

  8. I'll quote one from Mckesson that is pretty much the basic point about voting for the Democrat:

    Quote

Clinton has the plan to move American forward.  I believe in moving forward.

HRC is never looking backward to "a better time".  Sometimes she looks back at the way things were, but I don't ever recall her saying that life was nicer back then.  I remember her saying things like, if the other guys get their way, the plantation owners, mostly everyone else will serve or starve.

Every day Trump says something that is factually wrong.  How did this person graduate from Penn?  Small vocabulary, inability to really give a coherent speech, doesn't care to read - how does this gel with an Ivy league graduate?

Cheated his way through school?  Paid for someone else to take exams and write papers?   Brain damage that came later?  Premature senile dementia?  Some other medical condition for which he won't get treatment?  Side effects from improper or unapproved medical treatment from Dr. Feelgood?    Melania's been slipping something into his food?
