Translation (As Is from the link above.):

[bold]"The episode begins with Daenerys in Rocadragón. She is very sad about what happened in the previous episode. Her hair is lucky because Missandei died because she feels defeated. Tyrion and Varys are still arguing, Varys wants to betray her now so that she does not burn the king's landing.

Ok that was hard to read. All I got out of it was the Dany would get armor for Dragon and take Euron out. I kind of knew that from the teaser. But the twitter feed has photos

Slavers Bay/The Bay of Dragons is not "All of Essos" it is a VERY VERY small part of it.

Also Dany conquered Astapor and Yunkai and then immediately abandoned them. She never conquered and held more than a city at a time.

And Sansa conquered? She should let the pros handle it.

Sansa was right. They should have taken time to rest and frankly prepare a better plan.

I was waiting for Dany to say no shit Sherlock. Dany won all of essos she will make those decisions and Dany doesn’t even have the troops right now so they were not her downfall.

Are you saying Sansa knows more about these military matters than Jon, Brienne, Davos, Grey Worm and the Dothraki warrior in that room?

Sansa was hiding in the crypt while Brienne lead the  soldiers, Davos and Jon fought with the men, GreyWorm legad the Unsullied, Dothraki charged into the AOTD and Dany gave air support. But Sansa apparently now knows better than all of these guys about how much time Northern soldiers need to recover. Why did Brienne not chime in and agree with her if this was so.... Brienne fought with these men right? Why did Davos not agree with her? They are all advisers. If they truly

This looked like Sansa complaining just for the sake of complaining. Like she did about the food.

Why is Sansa even there? She is not the warden of the north. Jon is?  What say does she have over the troops. Dany rightly took her remarks to be trying to undermine her

I think it had a lot more to do with her being the Queen and Jon's lady. Would have been pretty damn weird if they HAD hit on her, IMO.

For me what annoyed me... where were the women? Girls ?  Even when Cersie came out a young Sansa couldn't help but go see her in person. Yet here not one girl / woman comes up to say how blown away they were. Or even feel bad for her that she is sitting all alone. Yet in the same episode I am to believe that women are throwing themselves at the Hound? The HOUND?

Please! I keep hearing on so many behind the scenes that Dany sees here that no one in the north will ever give her any credit or like her- only Jon. First, that does not jive with how people really are and if there is one thing this show has always done it is shine a light on real people and second, if that was truly true, if I were Dany I would take my troops back to Essos and make Essos more powerful than the 7 kingdoms. The north can suffer under Cersie.

But it is unbelievable to me that no one in the north would see value in Dany. That is a sexist plot necessary to turn Dany "mad" I resent it.

Add me to the list of people who are tired of the Sansa/Dany cattiness.  The two of them have more in common than they even know, why can't they just talk?  Why are they being written this way?  It's so disappointing.  I have to be honest, I really don't like where D&D are going with the female characters, on this show.  Anyone who isn't Arya is mired in stereotypical, petty bullshit, or they're missing (hey, Yara!).  I hate it.

Me too. What annoys me the most about this is that it would seem to reverse everything we know about Sansa learning to play the game of thrones.   She is right back where she was at the start. Making foolish choices out of some idea that she is better than everyone.   Not to mention that she apparently loves Theon now and presumably loves her brother but pays no attention to the idea they both were on Dany's team. Theon sure wasn't thinking with his member.  (only one conclusion - sexism)

But I was even more infuriated last week when Arya seemed not to trust Dany.  Why? For gods sakes, why? Dany showed up with her dragons and saved them all.  Dany has done nothing to make any of them not trust her. Doesn't Arya have some ability to see the motivations of people after her training? " She isn't one of us?" Are you kidding me Arya? You have spent your entire life surviving because of the kindness of strangers.  Dany just made Gendry a lord.  (only one conclusion - sexism)

Also extremely glaring -- your telling me at the feast there wouldn't have been ONE woman or ONE young girl that wanted to go meet Dany? Run up to her and play with her hair or see what she was like? It was beyond unbelievable that Dany was totally isolated. Even Cersie had a young Sansa come up to her.  In this unbelievable sequence... there were young girls wanting to have sex with the hound but no girl at all wanting to meet the mother of dragons. (one conclusion - sexism)

I KNOW!!! I Just. Don't. Get. It. Unless it turns out that Varys has been planting this seed of doubt for his own ends, I'm really unclear why the sudden change toward Dany. Varys has seen and lived through the worst in rulers. Dany doesn't even come close. Oh, but female.... Is it any wonder we're thinking it's all a bit sexist? Even Cersei, who blew up the sept, isn't tainted with the  "Mad Queen" moniker. But, unlike Daenerys, she's more than proven herself worthy of that title.

It is sexist. Also, you don't just jump from proposed leader to proposed leader. There is a lot of work to be done to set up a new candidate. I mean wasn't Varys working on Dany's behalf from at the VERY least season 5 on? Now he just jumps off at a moments notice. Man that is a lot of work down the drain. And since Jon is also a Targaryen and could go mad (notice all the mad Targs have been men) it would seem to be a foolish course of action until Dany had done something concrete. Every time Dany adds a braid they are ready to jump off the Dany train.

The only problem with Dany is them.

I guess Im asking of her being a knight precludes her from having that reaction... Again I am a guy so its totally possible this has a frequency I'm not totally tuned into so I'm legit asking

My problem with these scene is that it just wasn't Brianne. Have we ever seen her cry before? Even when Renly was killed? Backing up though I just thought the whole thing was out of some romance book. Her feeling insecure about being asked if she was a virgin, Jamie running after her. I also don't buy that SHE would ever buy Jamie showing any sexual attraction to her. After years and years of people making fun of her for her looks I think she wouldn't be capable of dealing with it in any normal way.  She might know Jamie was legit but wouldn't want her heart broken for the 1% chance that he was not on the level.  I might have bought it more they had sex pre fighting the dead. At least then, day after consequences were in doubt and Brianne could just enjoy herself.

The writing's been so bad and implausible, I hope the following happens (though I'm certain it won't)

I just want to see one hour and a few minutes of Drogon burning all the people I hate in this show... starting with Cersie, continuing to Euron, and move to Varys and possibly Tyrion. I am heading to my brother's 60 foot tv to watch it all burn.

Oh dear, hope this doesn't make me "mad" I have to go to work tomorrow.

Because it's too glaring an error to have been random, IMO.   Because ever since it became a meme I keep seeing/hearing Starbucks and Game of Thrones mentioned in the same breath.   Talk about product placement.

Also I think it keeps Game of Thrones the show trending for things other than the bad writing.

Unless there is Vibranium around, the amount of armour required would change Drogon from a Ferrari to a Yugo...

I suspect one reason we don’t see Drogon in next weeks promos is that dany did get armor for him

Another ridiculous plot point.  Why didn't Cersei have her archers open fire on Tyrion?  If she was willing to incur Dany's wrath by killing her best friend, why not kill the baby brother she has wanted to kill since his birth?

The only thing I can think of is that she thinks Tyrion is such a fool that he will continue to protect her from Dany.

or  Tyrion is secretly helping Cersei

As was Tormund toasting Dany, and Dany saluting Arya in turn.

    Good times.

I enjoyed that but was disappointed we didn't get to see the gobsmacked Jon that his little Arya has grown up.

I swear Jon is not in love with Dany. He couldn't even be bothered to bring her into the conversation.

What was with Sansa last night? D&D really like to have girls fighting for no apparent reason don't they?  What is wrong with the North?  They make this massive deal over Jon on the dragon but, err, Dany brought the dragons and rode them and oh had zero vested interest in doing so. I mean really shut up.

I truly don't see anything wrong with Dany asking Jon not to say anything. Truly it will just confuse things. She is right. Men like men so they will always want Jon as back up. But Jon is always "Ned" and just can't keep his mouth shut.

The funeral scene was nice and I enjoyed Jon lighting up Leanna Mormont but I wanted a moment with Ed.

Tyrion is totally betraying Dany.  It was best for Cersi that they have a meeting so that she could kill Missandei right in front of her. But everyone knew that was pointless for Dany.

  15. After seeing last nights episode I am pretty sure of a few things.

    1. Tyrion is betraying Dany. Everything he did last night seemed to undermine her including telling Veryas and setting up that meeting to demand Cerise's surrender. What better way for Cersie to kill Missandei right in front of her.  When everyone knows that was a waste of time from Dany's point of view. Of course Tyrion walked over to Cersie and made some big stand.. he knew Cersie wouldn't hurt him.

    2. Clearly someone tipped off Euron that Dani was coming back to Dragonstone. Tyrion.  And interesting of all the people they could take, Cersie took Missandei, like she knew that was the person Dany valued most.

    3. Everything Cersie did last night was calculated to infuriate Dani and make her attack. But why would Cersie do that?  Everyone around her knows that is dangerous and Cersie knows better than anyone what happened with Ned Stark. Unless that is, she wants Dany to attack.

    4. Jon snow did his final goodbyes last night.  It seemed very final.  Interesting as well that someone got Jon not to travel by dragon. Because they knew they would take the dragon out.

That makes more sense Cercei framing Dany with the wildfire and something I can buy Cercei doing.

I can see that. There was another leak saying that Dany attacks KL and accidentally sets off the wildfire... leading to Jon's horror at the result. But this one makes more sense. It also makes sense that Cersei would get and kill Missandei in the way she did, to goad her into attacking.

What? She wanted to burn Yunkai and Astapor. She said in S5 that Meereen could return to dirt.  In S2 she said (in show only speech) that she will burn armies ans cities.

But she didn't do it -- people talk shit when they are mad.

My problem is not that Jon thinks Dany has gone too far and needs to be taken out if she indeed goes insane, my problem is the lead up to it was practically non existent.  This season started and suddenly Dany was portrayed as straight up crazy.  I remember telling my friend that it was like she had a huge neon sign on her forehead that said evil in 8x01.  We've seen absolutely nothing in prior seasons absent burning the Tarly's the would lead up to this imo.  People love Brienne and Jaime because it was built up through seasons.  This Jon/Dany thing and now crazy Dany was like a last minute thing they rushed through just to get to because the plot demanded it.  It's hugely unsatisfying.

Agreed. I also, to back up a bit, do not think Dany would go crazy on Kings Landing. There is just no need for it. If yes, she took down 500 or so innocents killing Cersie, I am on board with that because Cersie has to be taken out. However, it is bad writing that Dany would do that.  She has NEVER shown such tendencies before. Always doing what she thought was necessary and NO MORE.  To have her just "lose it" for reasons that do not seem to justify it and further, for one one to try to take out Dragon (instead of Dany) is just plain bad writing fueled by sexism. And how convent there i no one around to bring Dany back from the dead. Guess women don't get second chances like Jon.

Plus what was the point of Season 7?

Definitely a deliberate callback, especially in the context of Dany trying to negotiate with Cersei in good faith. Cersei is the real Mad Queen here, but apparently the show doesn’t see it that way???

Kind of ironic as Cersei wasn't in favor of killing Ned because she knew what a storm it would fire up.  Does Cersei want to die?  Well, I sincerely hope that Dany gives her what she wishes but D&D don't like kick ass women so she will be the "mad" queen. Kind of makes me angry, what business is Kings Landing of Jon's? Go keep your precious Wildings under control.

I doubt it. Legit publications like Variety have confirmed that Episode 4 was mistakenly released this morning in Germany by mistake. The clips only went up about 3 hours ago. They are from the episode.
