Luke quit MSNBC in July 2016. There was a lot of pressure on him to take over Meet the Press after his dad passed away in 2008. I remember Wagner used to call him the sage of MSNBC which was silly because he was in his early 20s. The network chose Chuck Todd over Mika & Joe to take over the show.
