  1. That's the only kind of letter opener I use! Whenever I go to a business expo or something and companies are giving them out for free, I stock up! Steve is holding it super weird though. Nice sideburns, Kelly.
  2. David's court outfit is the worst. Look how long those sleeves are! Kelly's terrible hair and eyebrow combo is making it difficult to look at her.
  3. I have a coworker that capitalizes words in emails for no reason whatsoever and it drives me nuts. I tried to get her to explain to me why she does it and she couldn't. So funny that you guys noticed the same problem in that note the gang left for Dylan and Toni.
  4. Thank God David got rid of his terrible facial hair and haircut. He looks like a normal twenty something in the 90's.
  5. Nice face on Kelly in the Braniel Bray Lewis photo.
  6. Man, I totally had the Clare bangs from like 96-99. Terrible decision and I curse everyone I knew during that time frame that didn't say something to me. I did not have the accompanying helmet head of short layers though. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of hair layers throughout these VA. Andrea, Kelly, Peter. Only Val had good hair layers.
  7. My dad (yes, MY DAD) LOVED Jade's song "Don't Walk Away," because it has a good drum and bass beat. It is a good 90's R&B song. Was Donna against all sexual activity? Because damn you can do some hand and mouth stuff. Get yours, Donna. I agree they should have been having that discussion before getting naked and under the covers. Like, "Just FYI, if you start complaining out blue balls I will gladly give you a hand job."
  8. "Braille Weekly?" So good! I can't believe this "should Brandon be president," plot lasted so long. As everyone says every episode, "nobody cares!" And I'll be damned if a school would pay for a flipping court case over it. Don't you have classes to attend, Brandon?
  9. Loved the scrunchie on the wrist. I am sporting that look in many a photo from my college years. Also, is Brandon wearing a long sleeved mock turtleneck with shorts in that same photo?
  10. I would like someone to research back to when exactly Priestly started his cock attitude towards EVERYTHING (probably episode 2). I got so angry looking at the gifs of him showing his ID and the one where he is delivering the subpoena in his giant pants. Why is he always so put out about everything? Ugh, it's so irritating. I just wonder if that was something a director decided Brandon should be like or if those are personal characteristics of Jason's coming out and that's how HE actually is in real life.
  11. I am so happy that Sarah and Tara always comment on how terribly Brandon speaks to adults. It is insane to me. Especially as an EIGHTEEN year old. And, the fact that they roped a FRESHMAN that had been in college for maybe a month to tutor the start athlete that the college was counting on. It's not like he was some genius student either. It would have been more believable if they got a brainiac like Andrea to do it. I know it was just for show since D'Shawn was getting A's regardless, but way to make Brando's head even bigger. The scenes with Brandon confronting various adults about the "scandal," of D'Shawn skating by remind me of The Social Network when the WInklevoss twins first talk to the dean (or whatever head honcho that was) about having their idea stolen and the dude is just like, "Ugh, spare me, children."
  12. Also, I think when he wanted to give her a gun before she left she didn't want it and said, "I'm British! I've got a phone!" Or did I mishear her? Maybe I'm an idiot, but I don't get why Pine was purposely trying to bring attention to Jed and himself being all flirty at the bar? With his, "Smile at me. Funny, funny, joke," thing.
  13. I forgot Tracy Middendorf was on this show (Laura). I always thought she looked a little like Jennie Garth. Seems like a missed opportunity for a long lost sister storyline, writers! I get why Brandon had 3 buttons undone mid-makeout but why did he have 2 undone in the first place?! And, button that third (and second) one back up before leaving the house and going out in public. Confession--I used to like chenille sweaters.
  14. Sarah's discreet "No! Boyeeeee..." when discussing the so-called rap music intro to D'Shawn was one of my favorite moments in this podcast.
  15. Brenda's new eyebrows make me SO angry! I tried to find a photo of her from earlier seasons to show what awesome eyebrows she used to have, but her bangs were always covering them. It just kills me that someone told her this new style of eyebrows was a good idea.
  16. I always wonder if Greek life popularity is a regional thing and/or depends on the size of the school. I went to a large state university that would be comparable to UCLA (assuming that CU is based on that) and belonging to a sorority or frat was not the norm. In fact, most people were made fun of if they were members of them. However, a friend of mine went to a very small college in the same state and Greek life was expected if you attended. I went to visit her one weekend and wanted to stab myself in the eye when she and her "sisters," had to have an "emergency meeting," about some formal coming up. Also, is student senate really a thing in college? I cannot even recall something like that going on at my school and I had lots of friends that were involved in all sorts of campus organizations. Never heard of it and don't even know what they would be doing? Especially at a huge school. Yeah, I'm sure the senate at CU really "ran the school," of 30,000 students. Nerds.
  17. The day after I listened to this podcast, a friend posted on her Facebook about getting into an argument with a telemarketer and he threatened to DROP A COW ON HER! I wanted to ask her if he was trying to sell her subscriptions to a college newspaper... I truly appreciate the ladies calling out the "I know who you are, Zuckerberg." What? How? Why? No way in hell. The only way he would have known her name was if she donated millions to build a new newspaper office and it was called Zuckerberg Hall. My least favorite character trait the writers gave Brandon is how he supposedly could save/fix everything and anything wherever he may be. It really came out a lot in the college years starting with this newspaper idiot. Stop feeding his ego!
  18. Dylan looks pretty hot while sniffing her hair. But the hair sniffing does kind of cancel it out. Man, you guys weren't kidding about the belly-button picking. What was that?!
  19. I'm confused about the Minnesota weather thing. Isn't it supposed to be late August or early September? They just started classes, right? Even Minnesota doesn't get snow THAT early. I bet Fall is gorgeous there so Brenda needed to quit bitching about the "terrible weather," that she lived in for approximately 15 years of her life.
  20. I was JUST imitating the tennis playing in this episode the other day because I have always found it so ridiculous and was randomly talking to someone about 90210. I remember this episode so clearly because I was a tennis player and hated the jumping after every shot. What WAS THAT?! Haven't listened to the whole podcast yet so I hope it's mentioned. I love that first screenshot.
  21. Found out some interesting information about Cousin Lindsay, because I was questioning where I might know her from (she looked familiar to me in the visual aids). I didn't find anything familiar on her IMDB page, but in real life she's married to JONNY LANG, famous Blues, Rock guitarist. Also, she was on Kids, Incorporated (K! I! D! S!). I also got a laugh looking at this episode's page because the director was Bill D'Elia, father of Chris who I do believe is either Tara or Sarah's mortal enemy?! Did he direct a lot of 90210?!
  22. I thought it was a mixture of shells and the SIM cards in the bottle and Pine picked through them when going through the garbage (when he saw the SIM cards weren't in the phones).
  23. The way the girls were wearing their graduation caps reminded me of a couple episodes of The Golden Girls where Blanche wore a baseball cap. Always pinned to the back of the head instead of the top so the bangs and such were still visible. Even as a large foreheaded, always have had bangs gal, I knew to push my bangs under the cap and just make sure my cap came down enough on my forehead to camouflage it.
  24. I would like to vote to see the video of Sarah's commencement speech! Sounds WAY more interesting than this episode.
  25. I would like to chime in on the vomit talk. I am one that knows I have approximately 2.5 seconds after the "oh shit, I'm going to puke," feeling starts to get to a vomit receptacle before it starts coming out. I was also infuriated how Donna was running around like she was in a fun house at the local carnival. My husband was once confused when I said, "I accidentally barfed in the sink," (because it sneaked up on me so fast when I had the flu). I was a 1995 graduate and I was surprised how in a group of friends like the 90210 gang everyone was all, "You have to have a date to go to the prom," and "I can't go, I don't have a date." It was very common at my school for a group of friends to just go to the prom and not be paired up at all. And I'm sure Mr. BMOC, Brandon, would have been able to stand around "NOT DANCING," just chatting with all the fellow students he knew.
