  1. I didn't watch the preview but thanks to you guys I'm now speculating the draped coffin. And I say nobody dies, since there's the one guy who's been dead all season: Kate's husband. I'm giggling over this thread becoming a language police community. I'm in Indiana right now, or, "in Diana". ;) I liked kick-ass Chloe, Mark B. being turned into a puddle on the floor and called an IDIOT, Audrey and Jack's conversation. And the fact that I'm on vacation in the States and able to watch the season finale "live"! Yay! I can't believe it's almost over. I need twelve more episodes!
  2. Oh, I get it now. Good point, him maybe including the information on the resignation. I sure hope they won't bore us with a VP plot, we running out of time for all things Jack! Amen to that!
  3. I'm not holding my breath for a happily-everafter-finale for this season. Not even if TPTB are serious about no more 24 (pthooey!). They're cooking up something that'll make us cry our eyes out. Pure speculation, of course, What I'm hoping for is a cliffhanger that promises a next season. 24LAD in Moscow? I got the impression she was referring to the location, as in the middle of the floor. Or the two other suites were just huge and Margot took the cheap deal. Real estate in London is not cheap, not even with a terrorista's income! Oh, well, not that it matters anymore, now that she base jumped Jack Bauer style. Wheeeeeee splat. Do they, really? Ok, Audrey, Mark, Jeeves and Jack know now. They didn't have time to announce it around already, or did I miss something? Of course in 24land the presidents come and go and swearing someone new in doesn't really make a difference. Was just watching s4 with Ex-prez Palmer rushing to that no good slimebag Logan's rescue, when he was busy panicking down in the bomb shelter. Makes me wonder if we're going to meet the VP. They still have a shot at flying him/her to London before the finale. Ooh, the suspense!
  4. I loved this episode from start to finish. Oh. My! Totally! I kept moaning "this caaaaan't be over in just a few weeks!" all through the epihour. But really, the time jump factor is now really interesting! How on earth are they going to fit everything into the rest of the episodes? We were wondering about the resignation on our couch as well. What's going to come of that? Mark B. might just have that little filey in his back pocket somewhere. Kiefer had a very sweet moment as well, in the helicopter when Audrey thanked him, he said "You're welcome." and had a goofy, blank stare there for a few seconds and then shook it of as if he thought "Oh, yeah, saving the world. Right. On it.". The Big Bad? Can you say: Behrooz? Or even... N-i-n-a? Thanks for the chuckle. Cornetto. Hee! Amen to that! Enough with the bringing in of the suspects. Out the window I say! Speed yes, Adam West, no, but couch-buddy did mention Spiderman. Wasn't the final scene's suspense built exactly on the fact that Chloe was in a pub, in a poor "working environment", shooing off drunk guys, while not sure if she could break the drone's whatevertechnology in time? "Do what you can and call me back.", Kiefer said and after that it was all split screens, suspense and kaboom. That Adrian guy is giving me the creeps. Oh, TPTB, please don't kill Chloe off!!
  5. LOL brgjoe, when that bullet hit him, he was all: "Message for you, sir!"
  6. Oh, my, what a thrillride! "Wake that bitch up!" <- priceless. I was so breathtaken I didn't even come to think of silent clock issue. Then I decided that Chloe did manage to hack the drone whatevertechnology in time. I wonder how it'll play out. So far I've managed to stay pretty much spoiler-sober. My wtf -moment? Realizing at 6:32PM that I was inadvertently watching the episode "in real time". ROTFL-moment? Jordan's dripping wet iPhone followed by "introducing the new water resistant Samsung Galaxy" -ad on the next break on Hulu. Just loving the actors, especially Kiefer, Devane and Margot. Very disappointed with Chloe, not Mary Lynn's acting, but the character's role this season. We need more Potato Face! Was laughing at her sitting at a sleazy bar with her laptop once again, just casually trying to save the world. And nagging to Jack about her working environment. Oh, and pay phones? Kim used a pay phone back in season 1, didn't she? ETA: And! I'm developing a serious soft spot for Mark B. all of a sudden! He's soooo going to betray Kiefer now. Because that's how this works!
  7. Yes she was, and I kept wondering how she could fit the bandages into those tight black leather gloves. Or she took off the bandages and took enough drugs to numb it out. Sick.
  8. That was way beyond ass-kicking, I'm telling ya! Ass-stabbing! Kate Morgan is now officially Kiefer 2.0! LOL! And of course a total shoutout to Behrooz and his girlfriend's annoying little ringtone. "We got the same ringtone, see!" Oh, I so agree. This episode had all the best of 24 wrapped up. And more! I saw that, too! He was like, "Wait a tick, I was gonna do that! ...oh, but yeah, we only got six episodes, so I guess you can help yourself." The PM is very disappointing to me as a character. I adore Stephen Fry and had very high expectations for him doing this particular show. I'm hoping he's gonna kick some ass later on. Or be the baddie. Or both. Yes! Yes yes! This TerrorWhat'sHerFace is getting boring. Although the maternal intrigue is there, I hope they will work with it. Maybe there's something to become of the so far very boring TerrorBrother as well? Mark B? Not convincing me yet. Slimy. Loved to watch him turn into a puddle talking to the Russian fellow, though. Off to Siberia, Comrade Boudreau! This thread was so much fun to read! I finally got the time (I'm all out of it lately!!) to watch the epihour just now and couldn't wait to come and see what has been said. Thanks, guys! :)
  9. You're Welcome John! Day1 characters had the most sticking nicknames ever. Poor Man's Mena Suvari, Spawn of Kiefer, Soul Patch, Bitchelle... I have been rereading the forums and recaps this year to go with my 24 rewatch and they still make me laugh out loud. Alas, that's no longer an option. *sigh* The plot twist with Jalapeño being the mole and then killing herself after she got caught, do I remember correctly that we didn't yet know about Nina's moledom at that time or did she actually have something to do with the fact? No, wait, did we find out later that it was Nina who actually killed Jamie? Gosh, my memory is failing me. Nina was such a complicated villain from start to finish. Very clever writing for that character, methinks.
  10. Hahaha, loving the fact that someone else keeps remembering the characters by their TWoP nicknames as well. Jalapeño Spice was Jamie, wasn't she?
  11. I started a rewatch last winter, not knowing about LAD. I had seen days 1-3 several times but after 4 it was all a blur. I'm now halfway through day 7 and I have to say I find the seasons past 4 much more intriguing now than when it was fresh. I do remember being pregnant during season 8 and cursing my baby for making me fall asleep before the end of an epihour... LOL The love story of Jack and Audrey is growing on me now, I remember hating her back then. But she DID go all the way to China to find him and he had nothing to do with her being caught and tortured. And judging by their reactions now... It's so meant to be. And Boundary, the Erin Driscoll plot? Such. A. Waste. Of. Time. Geez!!! I totally agree.
  12. Well put. What got me watching that particular scene, was the fact that it played out so differently than I expected. It was absolutely beautiful acting from both Kiefer and Kim. Dammit, I'm starting to like Audrey! Word, Sake614. Biting my tongue (or should I bite my fingers since I'm typing?) to not turn this into a full on Kieferette-rant. ;)
  13. I think Mark is too sleazy to even score sympathy votes for the fact that he seems to love Audrey so much and be overly protective of her. But when Audrey told him "My father needs you, now more than ever." NOT continuing with "...and so do I.", I did feel a little glimpse of sympathy. Or sort of was not so annoyed with him. Besides Kiefer, my favourite so far is Kate Morgan. Of course Chloe goes without mentioning. The "old Chloe" kept showing her scoffing, know-it-all potato face last ep and it made me giggle. I wonder what the story is behind her and Adrian? I totally understand her. Maybe she was wondering if there was time for a Simone keeps reminding me of someone, however I haven't seen any of her previous work. So far I liked her better as the Russian bimbo, than the weepy, abused child she is now. Altogether I'm enjoying this season very much, the suspense and the characters. I keep thinking 12 episodes is not going to cover it, but I'm waiting for the first time jump to judge if this works or not. So far I like the pace.
