Waaah, I can't see the photo. I get "this content cannot be displayed in a frame." Went to Joe's twitter page and it's not there either, nothing for that date/the 26th, nothing after the 25th is shown. So now I have the sadz.

I think she looks like Dr Z with or without makeup. Her mom was a stunner when she was younger and I also see that. Sorta icky that Joe became infatuated before he met her while watching her do overnight newsbreaks and intros from his bed (with wife #2). Taking the only opportunity he was given, he pitched the co-host position in a hallway at NBC. OMG the dancing. She is totally enjoying herself but ... some people (like me) should not attempt that in public (so I don't, because I'm realistic about my limitations). I want to smack Joe for (intentionally, it seems) blocking our view. Capehart OTOH is a really good dancer. Did she not realize that her mic was on? I could even forgive the scarves if she showed that side every day. Serious, intellectual Mika is stiff and unlikable.

It appears that the Limited Edition mug is Joe-with-guitar. When his music career takes off he will drop us like a dollar watch. Is Mika easing us into the transition? She rarely shows up anymore, which evidently is OK if you're (sleeping) with the band.

Like Ted Cruz, Mark Halperin has a punchable face. Ted's face is angular; Mark's face is soft and doughy but still very punchable. Invitingly so. My fist, it itches. More John Heileman, please! (Not one bit punchable, IMO)

Admiral Stavridis takes the cake for optimism this morning, saying that NATO can/will send 4000 troops to Afghanistan because Europe has 2 million in uniform. Stavridis said he operated his theater with a 2:1 ratio of US and NATO troops so 2000 troops is a more realistic expectation. But after the way T has shown Europe/NATO his ass? Probably not. He's already blind so no harm, no foul.

They are all up in their personal profiles, aren't they? Reading between the lines, no one has enthusiastically supported his music until now. His muse, his dream girl, is behind the much stronger emphasis on that. I can't help but wonder about the why, when they both take the day off. Can't/don't want to get out of bed, or arguing?

Joe said that one of Mika's brothers mentioned her SAT scores to him at a recent family gathering. College was, wow, how many years ago? They are a high-achieving and hard-charging family and it seems like they messaged her that she wasn't measuring up. I sometimes think about this when watching her tentative chirping on the show.

There are two CEO advisory councils, accent on advisory. One is for policy and strategy and the other is for a manufacturing initiative. They've done nothing beyond being announced and presented and it's been four months since their last meetings. The CEO resignations story was everywhere last night; I was looking forward to hearing Joe's take on it this morning. But, noooooo.

Another EP is scheduled to drop soon and for that we surely will see both in studio, at least for a few days.
