Bill seems to love being with his kids and taking care of them. It's a lot of work to monitor two small active kids so close in age, so if Bill ever looks fatigued I wouldn't blame him. Because of Zoey and Bill's backgrounds, I think Jen and Bill have been careful about not introducing too many caregivers for their kids. It seems like Jen's parents and Kate have been the primary substitutes. We don't know for sure, of course, if there have been others. Zoey and Will don't seem to fear strange adults so that tells me that they have bonded well with their parents and are confident of their love. When the kids were talking to the cameras they were forthcoming and at ease. It's really remarkable how far they have come. I keep thinking of the picture of Will when he was first brought to the orphanage...he barely looked alive. And Zoey is like a different child.

I think it's quite obvious why Jen and Bill decided to do the series--the answer is the show's title. The entire premise of the show is that physical challenges can be overcome and you can lead a successful life. They are far more admirable than the Duggars (ugh), Gosselins, and all the other large families, who have done nothing admirable. They've either procreated A LOT or, because of medical intervention, they had litters of children. Both options were THEIR CHOICE--despite the religious angle they try to promote, God had nothing to do with anything. Jen and Bill had no choice--their fates were handed to them. They and their parents had to make the best of it. That Jen and Bill have not only survived, but prevailed... that's amazing. Whatever disagreements I may have with minor details of their lives, it's nothing compared to the admiration I have for them. The show could end tomorrow and they would be fine, unlike the other moochers who have lived off the TLC largesse.

I've always thought Bill was funny but he was really piling on the wisecracks and it was wearing thin, IMO. Also, Jen speaks and then she looks at Bill as if to say, did I sound okay? And the other night he would disagree or contradict her, and she gave her nervous laugh. No big deal, but I wanted to say to her, You're an accomplished woman, you don't have to run things past your husband.

Seeing Zoey in recent flashbacks made me appreciate her cute hairdo even more. She has thick wavy hair and it overpowered her adorable face. Now we can see her facial expressions and her eyes.

I think Jen and Bill seem to have a lovely marriage that works for them. For the purposes of filming, we see Bill as the more laid back, jokey guy and Jen as the type A achiever. Bill loves an audience, knows that the camera is on and cracks wise. IMO they both went through a lot with the adoptions, cancer and Bill's surgery. So now they get to breathe and enjoy things. I was thinking how genuinely happy they both look in these episodes, and why not? They are healthy, their kids are healthy and adorable, the future looks bright.

Loved, loved the Bollywood dancing and Zoey's purple scarf. Adorable.

Let's face it, each show has to have some sort of theme or something that ties it all together: Mr. Mom, trips to some place, birthdays, whatever. It's just the way it is and they are going to become repetitive. What makes this show delightful are the kids. We've seen Jen and Bill over the years and now the kids are the draw. I think the show should be cut back to a half hour but there must be a reason ($) that TLC keeps it at an hour. They wouldn't if there weren't sponsors buying ad time. Now that the kids are more talkative and aware they are just cuter than ever. It is fun watching them navigate activities and learning new things. I can't see that TLC wants to pull the plug anytime soon. Unlike the Duggars or some other skeevy reality show subjects, Jen and Bill are educated and admirable. It's one show that TLC should be proud of.

Loved this episode. Will and Zoey get just cuter and more expressive every week. Those chefs hats in the kitchen! Zoey's kept sliding down, sometimes she looked like a little Amish girl. Bill got off some great lines. "Let's knock over a liquor store" after the tattoos. "I'm from the land of old people" when his joints were aching. I actually really liked Jen's darker hair. I didn't think I would but I thought she looked younger and the color was more flattering for her skin tone.

If W and Z were getting stuffed with too many treats all day long they would have weight problems and they don't. For being so tiny they seem in pretty good shape. And kids don't have to be on a "sugar high" to be bouncing off the walls--it's called being a kid. They're young, they have boundless energy. I agree that Zoey seems further along for her age than Will is for his. And it is completely understandable--the picture of Will when he was first brought to the orphanage tore my heart out. He barely looked alive. It's remarkable that he rebounded so well. But, as the mother of a son and daughter, my daughter who is 16 sometimes seems more mature than my 24 year old son! Not really in intelligence but in practical issues and "taking care of business." I see the same in W and Z. And, thanks, I would be happy if I never heard here about these childrens' diapers, pull-ups or bathroom issues ever again!

By all appearances Judy and Dave live comfortably. Not broke, certainly not "mooching." I think Dave and Judy could afford to take the Polar Express or go to the Zoo on their own dime. I really doubt they solely rely on the largesse of TLC for their entertainment. Or on Bill and Jen's generosity. They seem like utterly devoted parents to Jen and grandparents to W and Z. I just read "Life is Short" and was so impressed by how both sets of of parents raised Jen and Bill. (No wonder both marriages frayed...but it was nice that Dave and Judy got back together). Will and Zoey adore their grandparents and vice versa. I agree that the show could be cut back to a half hour.

I'm obsessed with Zoey's adorable clothes. Love her bowling outfit, the pink sweater with the longer blouse. Will is so happy and sweet.

I think when Zoey said "Aw, man!" at the photoshoot it was a cleverly coded commentary on the state of her parents' marriage. Amirite?

It's called a free market economy. Supply and demand. People wanted to hear what Jen had to say so they paid money to listen. No one forced or coerced them to do so, they did so of their own free will. She is free to give speeches when asked.

I think Dave and Judy, as well as Jen and Bill, are comfortable financially--no one is mooching off of anyone. My husband's parents died when he was 8. Mine only got to see one of our children before they passed away. The absence of grandparents is sad.

I was getting hungry watching them all eat sushi. As the parent of two fussy eaters, now grown, Jen and Bill are fortunate to have kids that will aren't picky. I know they have talked about how children from orphanages are voracious eaters; I also think these kids were exposed to different foods at a young age.

Zoey is like a doll that has come to life and runs around saying cute things. When they were at the photo studio and she said "Aw, man!" I died. Love her outfit there too. And when she sat there in her little yellow slicker at the aquarium, chatting away, it was too adorable.

That seemed like a wonderful, caring pediatric group. Very skilled at shot giving, it seemed, although we didn't see the actual shots, IIRC. I loved everything about this episode. Some of this season has been a little tedious but this one was pure pleasure. Zoey making googly eyes at Dr. Ho, goofing with Bill at lunch, dressing up as Minnie! Will was adorable too, and it was a nice send off episode for Judy and Dave. Also, count me as one who LOVES Zoey's short hair. You can see more of her beautiful little face, her eyes. and her expressions. She wears girls' clothing so she looks like a girl, even without pierced ears.

I really like Dave and Judy and will miss them, although their move is understandable. I get a kick out of Judy's deep, raspy voice--I wonder if she was a smoker at some point. You see the depth of her feelings for Jen when she tears up here and there. I can only imagine how many difficulties they faced raising Jen, and to have her turn out to be such a success story with a a wonderful family--no wonder Judy gets emotional. She should be very proud, she and Dave did a great job.

Cute, celebratory episode. Those kids seem well adjusted and sweet. I would shudder if anyone had a camera going when my kids were small.

walnutqueen, how about the wedding pics of guests in leisure suits?! And Afros on white guys? I agree this vow renewal was tasteful and sweet. I've said I usually cringe with these manufactured TLC vow renewal programs--they are either hokey or the couple is on the verge of splitting up. But I do give a most of the credit to Bill. I sure he had some help here and there but I really thought most of the important decisions were his. He did good.

LOL well, if a face full of cake makes you relaxed, happy and joyful, I say go for it! Me, I had nice makeup and I wanted my dress to survive the night (it cost about $300 in 1978, which I thought was very expensive at the time). Most of the cake smashers I've seen have been drunk, so hard to say if they would have done the same thing sober lol.

Back to the cake smashing--just an idiotic trashy "tradition" IMO. I've been married 36 years and we certainly didn't do it back then (after spending money on a dress and hair, are you kidding?) I have no idea when it started. I think some bride or groom got drunk once, did it, it got videotaped and some other newly marrieds heard about it and thought it was a great idea. Grow up! Anyway I can't imagine after taking such care in arranging for Jen's dress that Bill would ruin it, and she wouldn't want to do it either.

Bella, I agree that the potty training/diaper issue has been thoroughly covered. Enough, IMO. But sometimes it's frustrating to have the ignore function and then people post lengthy highlights from the people you're trying to ignore. I understand not everyone can ignore the same people, but I sometimes wish there weren't such long quotes--maybe just brief references. Just IMO.

4leafclover--I agree with the diaper/pullup "issue"--TLC shouldn't even show it. And wasn't there a thread here somewhere where a mod said we were to stop talking about potty training? Or are diapers still fair game lol? I have a memory of comments getting deleted because of potty talk. Or am I thinking of something else?

I think both Will and Zoey have very good table manners. Some kids that age have the table manners of Henry VIII or a well-entrenched South American dictator. The Klein kids are remarkably well behaved. I also don't think Will is particularly overweight. He has, in a way, Bill's same build--barrel chested. When he gains weight it will always be in his tummy or upper body. I think that's why Jen had fruit on the table; I'm sure they are aware of his eating habits.
