I just watched episode 7 and I can’t believe the judges were fooled by Spirit’s helmet. It very obviously seemed like cake and had chocolate poking out of the side. Idk…I like Spirit the best but that seemed rigged.

I noticed this too and it made me lol. I am too old for the OG Goosebumps series but my kids recently watched them and so I did as well…it’s pretty on par for the original series with dubious “foreign” locations etc. I sort of liked the finale but it seemed rushed in parts. I couldn’t believe they would kill off Isaiah. I kind of hope there’s a season 2 but only because I liked the teens and Chris Geere.

Is that the guy who played Kate’s second husband, Philip, on This is Us? Also, who is he supposed to be? And how are they going to wrap this up in one more episode?

Omg…but were they trying to line up parts of that song with moments from the episode? Free ride when you’ve already paid - Carter in the limo? Good advice that you just didn’t take - Jon’s voicemail and Eddie not being with Delilah Also in any other show Benny would have kidnapped Javi. I was waiting for that to go down. 🤣 I’d prefer they not kill Gary.

As implausible as the Regina running for city council thing is, I really loved Rome’s realization about it in the food truck and then their interaction at the end where he calls her his favorite person. They’ve always been my favorite couple. And Romany Malco’s acting is always perfect to me. I did like seeing Jon again even though apparently he was a big disappointment of a husband. I was glad when Delilah wasn’t invited to the wedding. But then I thought her exchange with Theo was sort of sweet.

Ok…table for 1 please. I kind of liked it. I think the Eddie/Delilah possible love match came out of nowhere especially because she’s been so awful…but I’m not mad about it? I’m so confused lol. I didn’t want Eddie to wind up in a Luke/Laura situation with the lady who injured him. I was thinking Maddox was going to offer to be Walter’s home health aide or something, but I’m glad it worked out for Walter. It always bugs me when they have clearly not newborn babies wearing hats indoors. My babies didn’t wear hats indoors after about 2 days old.

The professor basically admitted that she treated Eddie differently because of his disability. She should get reported to the Dean or HR or whoever handles discrimination complaints. I liked the Omar/Rome resolution. If we can end the show with Walter being somewhat happy in his nursing home, that would be super. I don’t want him to die. 😭 Maybe if Dr. Jessica goes by Jess her show title could be “A therapy sesh with Dr. Jess”. I thought maybe the secret Greta’s parents were keeping was that the dad molested her which would give Katherine some conflict over how to act around them. I didn’t really care that they’re getting divorced.

I also hated Charlie. The scene in the car was so bad. I guess I’m glad we weren’t treated to Charlie not wanting to be with Dad drama? I was also confused about how much time had passed. Baby Javi is like the size of a 5 month old, Charlie is 4 (!) and inexplicably the US for a month, Walter has been living with Rome for 3 months, and Maggie hasn’t been away from the baby or back to work yet? I used to love Rome and Regina but Regina is just annoying now. I knew the councilwoman was going to screw her somehow. I did not miss Katherine or cheeseball Greta.

Omg both of these things!! Wtf was the apology for?? Dr Jessica Bruno did nothing wrong. That Rome comment made me lol. I had three kids but all in a hospital. It was pretty messy from what I remember. Maggie and Gary were just snuggled up in their regular bed in their regular sheets. There were no bodily fluids in sight! Regina runs a food truck business. She hired Sophie who doesn’t need a job. What is preventing her from hiring Dustin and letting Sophie go? Wasn’t Sophie just working there for fun anyway? It was sweet that Val is letting them stay with her. I guess Val Jr doesn’t live with her? I liked Greta better when she had some edge. She’s such a cheesy dork.

I have so many thoughts about the professor. I mean wtf was that? She singled him out and then told him to drop the class. If I were Eddie I’d be wondering if it was due to my very obvious disability and I’d report her to their ADA compliance officer. Him getting into the class was ridiculous anyway but then she basically asked him if he played the wheelchair card to get into her class. The stuff with Rome and his dad made my cry at the end. Why can’t Dustin stay at Walter’s house until he can get a job and find a place? I love Carter so I enjoyed his scenes with Greta…who is more enjoyable to watch with literally everyone but Katherine.

I thought the home health aide guy was way too cheesy and perfect. I thought for sure he was going to steal Walter’s identity or something. The birthing class couple and Maggie/Gary are going to encounter some sort of trauma that forces Maggie/Gary to go back to their original friend group. I got the sense that maybe Claire would lose her baby or the husband would die in some weirdo plot twist.

And with those seats in the stadium are they really going to carry Eddie down the stairs in a stadium full of people??? I mean really. Where’s the wheelchair going to stay at that point? With Herb the usher?? I love Romany Malco and his storyline is so sad. I wish he could get his happy ending too.

Y’all…can we talk about how wheelchair user Eddie was sitting in a non accessible seat at the stadium. Did they carry him down all those steps? Where was the wheelchair? Was he ok with that? Perhaps I am taking this all much too literally but that really annoyed me. Is the show trying to make Dr Jessica into some sort of villain? Greta should run very far from Katherine and her horrifying haircut.

Normally I like Greta but I think the actress plays her kind of wooden. It felt weirdly cringy when she was trying to convince Eddie to put up a photo without the wheelchair. But then Eddie said he was okay with the wheelchair so I see where they were going but it felt awkward to me. Also the lady he went on a date with was a total b. She did not have a visible disability and I agreed with Eddie’s skepticism of her motives. She could have been a little more understanding considering Eddie just acquired his disability like a year ago which I would guess is somewhat different from her brother having used a wheelchair since he was 4. I sort of liked Anna and Eddie’s dating story better. The Maggie storyline was dumb. What’s her boss’s motive and why are we being led to think that Dr. Jessica has sinister motives? Does Colton Cutler know that you can’t fire someone for being pregnant?

I’m really glad I’m not the only one who hated Katherine’s new hairdo. I only watch this show for Gary and Rome. “Maverick” is a total fakeout…that baby will be named Jon. I knew Javier was a goner when he was so jovial and caring during the chemo treatment scene. I didn’t mind this episode and as much as I like Danny and Sophie, I think they should get their happy endings and go away.
