I'm probably about to embarrass myself, but here are my best guesses. Believe the Lie (no idea, but it sounds like season 4-5) All Lies Lead to the Truth (Gethsemane or Redux? ) Believe to Understand (It was Closure or the one leading to it, right?) Nothing Important Happened Today (Nothing Important Happened Today) The End (The End) The Truth (The Truth) God is Watching (or something like that... That Burt Reynolds episode) Apology is Policy? (no idea, but I swear this is one)

Yeah---I think the season 10 comic books dealt with their relationship well. I wouldn't want to see tension between them. Her season 7 hair was definitely... interesting. I think my favorite was her season 4 hair. :) http://xfphotos.fredfarm.com/season4/tfwid/cap056.jpg (How is she so pretty?)

I wouldn't mind if they ditched all of the mythology past season 6 and went back to the black oil. I thought the original alien storyline was super creepy and awesome. Here's a deep question to think about: What length will Scully's hair be? And will it return to that rich red, or stay strawberry blonde like in IWTB?

Nah, I agree. I hated the magnetite and the whole "prophecy" angle. It reminded me of Angel or BTVS, and that kind of cheesiness doesn't work for this show. I'm fine with William being in the series so long as they don't make him act like a bratty teenager. That would be awful.

Yeah, definitely. Sorry for bringing up more questions, but what do you guys think they'll do about William if this ends up happening? I can think of a few possible scenarios: 1. Mulder and Scully found him already and he's a main character 2. Mulder and Scully are looking for him 3. He has to be sacrificed to save the world 4. He never existed (I doubt this will happen, but who knows).

lol at Fowley I definitely agree with you that Chris Carter was never the strongest writer on the show. But I (personally) felt like Abrams took the heart out of Star Trek, and I can see the same thing happening with The X-Files. This show has a certain quirkiness to it, and I think only Chris Carter (or another writer from the original team) could capture that quirkiness.

I'm trying to imagine the worst possible decision he could make. Scully married to Skinner? Oh god...

I agree with AntiBeeSpray about Abrams. On another note, do you think Mark Snow would come back for this? I can't imagine anyone else doing the soundtrack.

I feel like something might actually happen this time. (Watch as I get proven wrong lol) edit: strange wording

I didn't even remember the Never Again scene, but Drive is indeed one of the ones I had in mind. I didn't count the FPS glasses because I thought it would be too obvious. I just checked, and I don't think Humbug or F. Emasculata feature Mulder in sunglasses. If it helps, one scene involves a funeral, and another involves Mulder chasing down an innocent bystander.

I agree with both of you---this is a great episode! I think I've mentioned this before, but I vividly remember this episode from my childhood. I wouldn't go outside at night for weeks after I saw it, and it still scares me a little bit. I think it's hilarious when Mulder stands on top of the stump. He's such a dork.

This episode is super bizarre, even for X-Files. I really like episodes where there's a "small town with a big secret" theme. I grew up in a small town with many isolated farmhouses, and I always wondered who lived in them. I could imagine something creepy like this happening. Were they aliens? Humans who had stumbled upon some sort of elixir?

I liked the second movie quite a bit. But I also love thrillers and prefer the MOTW standalone stories. I think my first experience with IWTB helped, too—I watched IWTB and FTF before I watched most of the TV show. Since I had no real expectations about what would happen or what would be resolved, there was no disappointment. I'm still really fond of both movies for this reason. If they screw this up, I'll just pretend that it didn't happen. I do that a lot with this show ;)

Wow, that is awesome. Do you think the tweeting made a difference, or were they going to announce this right now anyway? I'm trying to not get too excited... Twitter is going crazy now! I bet #xfiles2015 will trend again :)

I am "physically shaking" right now. (I'll be physically shaking with anger if they get new actors though :()

You know you have an X-Files problem when...
Hidebehind replied to queequeg's topic in The X-Files [V]
- You can play just about every theme on piano - You not only have all the soundtracks on your ipod, but also every song that's featured in the series (Walking in Memphis, Wonderful Wonderful, Memories Child etc) - You've converted your family and friends into x-philes - You want to read Scully's senior thesis - You "borrow" lines from the show all the time - You know every episode by name - You watch your favorite episodes over and over and never get tired of them - You periodically lose interest, but in the end you always become obsessed with X-Files again =D
