  1. It doesn't work like that. Your script is banked, great. Now, you have to organize a table-read with actors, writers, producers and heads of department. And one of the reasons table-read take place is to spot major weaknesses in the script, everything which will need... a rewrite. So without writer (because writers strike), banked scripts only mean that the show/movie is gonna be stuck at the following stage in pre-production.
  2. That's just random people playing like others are playing with stock exchanges. Not based on informations, only guessing with the rule of the thumb. And concerning the strike, Shore and some of the main writers were picketing yesterday. So, like every show on broadcast, TGD will come back when the strike is over and they had enough time to wrap new episodes. The show was not on the bubble or on the verge of cancellation and the strike will not force ABC to do so.
  3. He flirted a bit with the nurse in Guatemala. It's a shame she wasn't the one they brought back in San Jose, the 2 actors seem to work well together and at least the actress wasn't a nutjob like the actor who played Mateo.
  4. What is this thing? TGD released this year a spin-off and is one of the top rated shows on ABC. So no, it's not in the bubble or "on the edge of the bubble". You want a show on the bubble? Just take a look at shows like Alaska Daily or Big Sky. And Fox cancelled 911 not because the show was in the bubble (the show was the top scripted of the network), but because of the fees they had to pay to Disney. And without a surprise, 911 went directly to ABC (Disney).
  5. Would make sense if he wasn't this character who passed so much of his time, screaming at or hurting verbally, other people.
  6. . The show isn't on the bubble. The production is already schedulded to ramp up in July. Writers strike will not cancel flagship shows.
  7. But that's her story this season. She refuses help, especially from Park, many times this season. In this episode, she tried to do everything by herself and was very quickly humbled by the situation. And I would add something: Just look what happened in few of the most recent episodes for her: - Park proposed to support her, about the IVF - Park proposed to help her finding a sperm donor - Park advised to help and drive her for the IVF appointments, she finally chose Glassman - Lim and Jordan helped her with the injections - now Park is helping her with Eden It shows that every step of the way, there's people here and present to help her, that she finally got a support system and it's no more Morgan Reznik agaisnt the world.
  8. The nurse saw it too, reason why she intervened. But eventhough he was about to take the tools, he still didn't know what to do with them. And Lim was also looking at him, not at the surgical site.
  9. During the short meeting he had with Lim, he did the same thing he did so many times recently to Shaun: she presented him facts and observations collected, then because he couldn't deny the facts anymore, he proposed a bullshit compromise, rejected as planned, and suddendly he became aggresive. Normally, the simple action to refuse to go through a cognitive assesment should be a red flag that something is really wrong. it's not hesitation. Hesitation would have mean that he at term knew/would have known what to do next. But here, he was totally unable to say (to Lim) what he had to do next in the surgical plan. So it's not hesitation.
  10. I don't think it matters. Glassman was completely iced, the surgical nurse tried to give him the surgery tool but he absolutely didn't know what to do with it.
  11. Few (big) spoilers for the season finale:
  12. Isn't exactly what Lim herself did against Shaun in the beginning of this season, the same Shaun who saved her life? And Shaun already worked with Glassman on his medical records, reason why he had access to his medical files and commented about them, you know, the moment when he discovered that Glassman didn't do maintenance chemotherapy.
  13. The crib didn't have this option, the side panel wasn't supposed to move. And Shaun during the attempted breakfast, clearly described his modus operandi to Glassman, that he would gather proofs if Glassman is fine or not and will inform Lim. That the reason and the moment when Glassman got angry. And honestly, we perfectly know how Glassman would have acted and reacted if Shaun would have told him: angrily.
  14. But that the point of the story with Glassman, he can not follow sequential instructions given anymore, reason why he was unable to finish the suturing, reason why he was unable to finish the assembling of the crib. Surgeries are not improvisation, they follow an etablished plan, reason why surgeons practice before doing the actual surgery. A reasonable surgeon would have tested himself to evacuate any doubt. Glassman isn't reasonable now, the first thing he did during the breakfast discussion was going personal against Shaun then the runaway card. Not a sign of confidence. So you saw what happened when someone talked to him about any of his medical problems: Shaun, Blaze, Debbie, Lea, they all faced his anger. And about the crib, watch again, the side panel opposite to Lea and the moment when Shaun tests it after finding the remaining screws.
  15. It wasn't just missing screws, one of the 2 biggest lateral panels of the crib was barely attached, when Shaun checked in the last scene of the previous episode. And if you observe their discussion/argument during the beginning of this monday's episode, when Glassman was screaming, he confessed having trouble to follow the instructions. A surgeon unable to follow sequenced instructions, it is a problem. It's not rocket science, it's a simple crib, you can assemble with your eyes closed. He shouldn't have problem to build it.
  16. Glassman isn't listening and isn't reasonable. Being a doctor, a surgeon, and even more a neurosurgeon, Glassman should have been the first to investigate on his problems, but he is just being belligerant and downplaying it.
  17. Shaun said he woke up at 3:30AM to read thru the data, he also made coffee for Lea. And I remember Shaun telling that he used to read a whole novel in one sitting.
  18. It wasn't Tourette, it was ministrokes caused by the tumor.
  19. Melendez was far worse, insulting Shaun and making sarcastic remarks, knowing Shaun couldn't understand them.
  20. They already thought about it and you can be assured that Huffman brings more audience (because of Desperate Housewives and others) than she makes people avoid the show (because of the college admission cheating scandal). And if people like Robert Downey Jr or even worse Mark Whalberg are able to have a comeback career in Hollywood, she definitely will.
  21. As he said, there's no amputation kit in the ambulance, so here or in the ambulance, he had to do it. And the victim was already having breathing and circulatory problem because of the sepsis.
  22. Lea was looking at cars on internet, when Glassman had the delivery of the stadium seats. I guess it's where she picked up the idea of customizing the car as her other one, like Glassman finally chose to have something he can use as seat but with a cool factor.
  23. The backdoor pilot was supposed to be March 6th, but they invert it with the following episode.
  24. Maybe it has to do with the fact that this season-worth (since the Salen's departure) in particular was quite special, a considerable amount of the staff became patients. We had: - Lea - Park - Lim - Villanueva Add to this an also considerable amount of kid patients. So it would be hard to kill one of them and it shortens the list of potential loss. But I'm agree, it would be by example not a stretch that the girl with the damaged lungs died in this present episode, I think she only survived because the actress playing the patient is a real life double-lung receiver and it was her experience depicted. Same with the sextuplets, at least one of them would have realistically died, knowing the circonstances.
