The producers have been asked about bringing back David and DJ and given the usual noncommittal "maybe, the door is open" answers https://tvline.com/interviews/the-conners-season-7-cast-johnny-galecki-david-michael-fishman-dj-1235244246/

but it was mark's salvation that was totally worth darlene throwing away her career for!

Harris already HAD a surprise pregnancy...

like in marriage, after the partnership agreement is signed, you still get your share regardless of how you contribute... (note: i'm not a business lawyer so what do I know?)

Probably someone's moving in or out?

S06.E09: Manifesting, Marriage Testing And Cheeseballs

that's a small overstatement. she's one of a large number of executive producers. she's not the person primarily in charge of the show, but she does have a big voice. so she could probably veto anything she really didn't like and they can't really make the show without her, but it's not all about her either. -

"... with her actual husband who she was still technically married to at the time which she NEVER TOLD ME." (iirc) yeah, darlene not big on taking responsibility for things! -
Sometimes it seems like no one's allowed to just have a NAME anymore on this show, you gotta be named for someone. (But then I was named after a character on a TV show so what do I know?)

One of many, not the sole producer, though she must have at minimum some input into her storylines, you'd think. -

Well he didn't even have a bedroom at 'home' so... -
As far as I know most states are red by area because big open nearly-empty areas with very little government AND very little population skew red, and most US states have a lot of those big empty zones.

speaking of David: https://www.cinemablend.com/interviews/the-conners-sara-gilbert-jay-r-ferguson-share-thoughts-johnny-galecki-david-return Basically just confirming that the situation continues to be what it's been for years. They'd be happy to have Johnny back and would find some way to work David into the show if he wanted to be there, but they "can't drag him out of the woods of Tennessee" where he's busy with his wife and kids.

Even back in the 80s parents sometimes freaked out about children singing songs that have potential adult implications (even though the kids usually don't get it and aren't bothered by it). There was a TV show that had little kids dressing up like popstars and crooning the tunes, to the kids it was just playing dressup and they were having a great time, but adults had meltdowns. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minipops It's not quite the same as it is today but people often get upset about things when it comes to kids.

Plenty of vegans have nothing against pets, the anti-pet crusaders are a weird minority afaik. Keeping chickens and taking decent care of them isn't necessarily a problem. Obviously you can't eat the eggs yourself and call yourself vegan but many vegetarians would consider those ethical eggs.

Considering she destroyed a funeral home in favor of modern white, the Darlene that would have liked a weird job is long forgotten.
